If Queen and Adam are the opening the Oscars......it will be epic! No reason they can’t do a medley of BR, WWRY, WATC, and TSMGO! Best way to replace the opening monologue. I’m sure Adam will wear the most incredible Tux on the Red Carpet and then some amazing leather outfit to perform in. I feel like a proud parent.....so happy for Adam but also for Brian and Roger.

I hope and pray that the Oscars will not screw this up and insist that QAL perform with anyone else but themselves. They sure don't need Gaga and they sure don't need Panic At The Disco. They are QAL, pure and simple.
I really don't think Brian and Roger would consider anyone but Adam performing with them. Just my guess. Gaga and Cooper and A Star Is Born are their own entity. Queen and Rami (and even Adam) and Bohemian Rhapsody are their own entity. Each should stick to their own songs IMO.

@pattihum: Noticed Adam Lambert liked this on IG! I think it is the perfect outfit for the Oscar performance! Freddie would have loved it! http://instagr.am/p/BuBT3MfAHOL @sylviagrant211: @pattihum 😂😂😂😂 omg... I hope he wear pants to be honest.... Nice, but I'd prefer a sensual, sexy outfit that's just glam enough to set it apart and still be flattering. And I just assume he will be wearing pants.

The QUEEN biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" is up for five Oscars, including "Best Picture". Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury, in the film is considered a front-runner for the Best Actor trophy for his portrayal of the late singer. "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?" the Academy teased on Twitter, quoting the classic QUEEN song "Bohemian Rhapsody". "We welcome @queenwillrock and @adamlambert to this year’s #Oscars!" Meanwhile, Lambert tweeted, "We will rock the Oscars," and included an emoji and the date and time of the broadcast. The 91st Academy Awards take place on February 24 and air live on ABC at 8 p.m. Since Lambert first shared the stage with QUEEN for the 2009 "American Idol" final, his dynamic performances have reinvigorated the band and delighted fans worldwide. Their first full show together — starting as they meant to go on — thrilled a half-a-million-strong crowd in the Ukraine capital city of Kiev in June 2012. Since then, May and Taylor's musical fireworks have been matched by Lambert's vocal prowess and stage presence, making for an explosive combination. Over 180 gigs later, the partnership has proven a commercial and critical triumph, playing to enraptured full houses in every corner of the world. 20th Century Fox's "Bohemian Rhapsody" has topped the cinema box office in more than 35 countries around the world since its late October release, drawing worldwide box office receipts in excess of $845 million. The excitement the film inspired also saw QUEEN propelled back on to the music charts, where they hit No. 1 on Billboard's Artist 100 chart, reminding fans why they loved them and dazzling the previously-uninitiated. In the U.S., the band scored its highest-charting album in 38 years with the "Bohemian Rhapsody" soundtrack (Hollywood Records), which surged from #25 to #3 on the Billboard 200 chart on November 17, reached the top of the Billboard Rock Albums chart and were Spotify's most streamed artist in the world for the week ending November 22. In the same week, QUEEN's "Greatest Hits Vol I, II & III: The Platinum Collection" rocketed from #194 to #9 on the Billboard 200 and they had a jaw-dropping 22 songs charting on the Digital Rock Tracks chart including seven of the Top 10.

re medley; Iheart music festival started with the first verse of Bo Rhap then first guitar solo then straight into AOBTD. I think they will do more than one song but most of the time will be spent on BR. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RiUB8EfcDU
