I just read Adam's post and now I see 9 pages 10 pages here already!! My heart dropped a little this morning but good to know that Adam is on an upswing. I told Adam that I see a lot of strength in his vulnerability and openness and that in the end it is he himself what matters the most. It hurts to know that Adam's mental health was affected due to disconnect in general and partially due to label decisions that were made for him. I think if he is feeling love again that can do a lot of good. I am not in a funny mood right now, but I had to smile a little within myself about the news of getting a taste of new music. I thought about it yesterday and mentioned it. Timing is right. I totally agree with strength in vulnerability. I think Adam finds strength in being a role model too and putting out his low times, a way to work through it, and being open is his way of role modeling. It's a message that can reach across gender norms and also to those who think if only I was rich..... He has beautiful words. I hope he keeps a diary or something so that he can write a book someday.

twitter.com/enews/status/1098690240485777409E! News @enews Adam Lambert opened up about his mental health in a letter to his fans: "I'm coming out of a dark period of second-guessing my own artistry and having my mental health suffer because of it." eonli.ne/2DZm7k9 Adam Lambert has opened up about his new music in a deeply personal message to his fans. In a note from the 37-year-old singer, posted to Twitter on Thursday, Lambert talks about coming out of a "dark period" and thanks his followers for their continued support. "Let me offer a most sincere thank you for your patience and continued faith in me," the message begins. "You've pushed me to keep going even when I felt discouraged. I love making and performing music, but there have been many times where I've had to compromise on my artistic vision, with executives making decisions based on money and not art." "Don't get me wrong – I'm VERY proud of my body of word. But I'm coming out of a dark period of second-guessing my own artistry and having my mental health suffer because of it," Lambert continues. "I started asking myself, 'is all this hustle really worth it?' I put all my focus on my work and started to feel detached in my personal life. My self-worth was suffering. I was lonely and becoming depressed." Lambert went on to write that being on tour with Queen helped recharge him with "positive energy." "With a bit of professional help and the support of colleagues, friends and family, I pulled myself out of the darkness," Lambert says. "I decided to begin my next album on my own so I wouldn't be influenced by anything but my passion for music. I reached out to fellow writers and artists that I'd met over the years and began booking sessions with them. I wanted to make the music I wanted to make, and to get in the headspace I was in when I first dreamed of being a singer-before playing industry game started messing with my love for music." "After the first few songs were written, I began to realized that the only way to get this new project released the way I envisioned it was to change up my team," he explains. "So I hired a new management company and signed with a new record label. A fresh start!" Lambert went on to announce a new song called "Feel Something," a preview of his new album before he drops his first official single. "This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs, and opening my heart," he writes. "The life of a bachelor can be a laugh, with plenty of flings, but after awhile it starts to feel empty. Between frustrations with my career and many lost connections, I felt numb- and though I wanted to fall in love, I knew I wasn't ready. That's what inspired me to cry out, 'I don't need to feel love, I just wanted to feel something!' It was in this realization that I took my first step toward self-care and nursing my spirit back to health. This song is the emotional starting point of my new album." Lambert concludes his message by telling his fans, "The tracks will chronicle the journey of taking responsibility for my own happiness and strength, and searching for intimacy. Since writing this song, I've found the joy I was missing and I'm back in my power. I can't wait for you to hear more!" "Feel Something" drops tonight.

I do suffer from mild mentle health issues. So listning to that song, it kinda made me feel kinda elevated in a way. To know a famous guy Adam goes through the same things anyone goes through. As for the song, this is Adam back to his best. I Think its brilliant. It has a clear message, lyrics are meaningful without being to complex. Adams vocals are upfront. It feels fresh. I well be honest I did not love his last single Two Fux. This though is Adam back to his best. Has a FYE 2.0 vibe to it. Excited for the rest of the album. The song is currently #10 overall on Itunes NZ.

I am trying to let this sink in, feeling a bit dizzy at the moment. But Adam is finally putting a song out!!!! That letter made me feel a bit sad, so later I will be able to feel the full joy about the song. He is publishing this independently, so we still don’t know if he has a label or no. I suppose he has, but there might still be some negotiations. And I read between the lines that he also has found love. ❤️ I feel similarly. My emotional reaction to Adam's letter is overtaking the joy over the new song at the moment, so I too need a few hours to let it sink in to fully embrace the new song. I think it was an important message by Adam and a way to re-connect. I love him so much.

This is the kind of song I have wanted to hear from Adam on the radio or any place. He has the voice and emotion that should be heard by more than just fans and on beautiful cover songs. His talent is too big to water down just to blend in. I hope it does not just drop with no support. I know it is not his first single but what a waste it would be if this gorgeous song does not get a wide audience.
