www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhZYitgcy_8896,528 can we get this to a million by tonight.... This is the Feel Something we should keep playing.. hard to find this one.. Two others listed with small amounts of looks...Had to look this one up and this is the important one.. This is very good to know. I'll keep playing this. It's also good to know overall what is the best thing to do to support a song. Purchasing, of course, then what benefits him most after that? YouTube views? Spotify? Which ones are the most valuable to do? I probably would put Spotify at the top, or at least before youtube, and Adam has still quite a bit of room to grow on Spotify.
But there are now other streaming services, like Tidal, etc., and I am not yet clear on whether Spotify will stay on the top as the 'public' lead indicator for a song's popularity, kind of like a litmus test. Even though the other streams are all included in the official stats, it seems that everyone still looks to Spotify first for some reason. But this might be changing.
Here is an interesting article that compares streaming services, and as you can see, there are so many different criteria that go into this, that nobody knows how this will shake out in the future.

YouTube views? Spotify? Which ones are the most valuable to do? Both YT and Spotify are valuable, but YT only counts a couple of views per day. The exact amount is not known, but it's not more than 10. Spotify counts them all and every streams gives a little revenue to Adam as well. I'm doing both. Does it matter in terms of counts if it's a paid subscription or free one with spotify?

No it doesn't. Except when you have a free account you will get commercials in between. The more you use it the more commercials. You don't get those when you have a paid subscriptions. So you can do more streams in the same amount of time. Also when you stream for free it won't stream continuously, but it will stop after a while. A paid one will just continue if you have put the playlist on repeat.

If all the plays count, does it matter how often the song is repeated? I mean can it be repeated without other songs inbetween? I've been playing your playlist, but was just wondering about that..
