Sweet voice, but the whole arrangement made me feel like this:  Is this Subo's third album in three years???  , That gif...   SuBo's new song, to me, is a prime example of what production can do with a singer's voice. Underneath all the bells and whistles, I hear a voice that is thin and has lost its timbre. No, I am no expert..just another ear. I do believe Susan does not have the voice she did when she sang "I Dreamed A Dream". Her last performance on AGT confirmed that for me. Whether it is strain, nerves, whatever..her voice has changed. I have no issue with Susan Boyle other than the fact that her songs all sound alike. Seoulmate nailed it on that gif. The fact that Adam has expressed that his voice will be front and center is really courageous in today's music. How many artists hide behind the producer's alchemy? FYE to me was overproduced. I know Adam has a fantastic voice, but to let people hear it when we have been force-fed studio-created pablum, is, in my hopes, the 'new' in music. Imagine a popfest where the voice is the vehicle and not hiding in the trunk? So excited to hear whatever mix of songs Adam and company choose. I want those vocals to BE the songs.
