I also saved the "apology" because I had a strong feeling it was going to disappear. The comments were so moving and they definitely made this guy look like the jerk he is. I wish I could write as well as you all did. My thoughts were too wild to even compose a single sentence so thank you for reacting so quickly to this. Did anyone tweet to the Lamberts about this?
Q3- I'll see what I can do about the other pictures. LOL

At about the 1:27 mark, Cantiello says about Adam "he's teaming with the right people. if wants to stay relevant on radio, he's gonna be all over top 40 radio this fall." Yahoo!! |

Hi. Food for thought: See below an interview from ABC News with Roger Daltrey about the quality of singers in contemporary music. He also disses American Idol a bit. My impression is he thinks that having a distinctive voice is as important as (or maybe more important than) having a great voice. Excerpt: "A lot of the new people they choose on shows like 'American Idol' and things like that — I don't ever hear lead singers," he said. "They always seem to choose to pick people that are great singers, fabulous singers, but they've never got the voice that makes a great lead singer."
Daltrey, 67, went on to name drop some of music's best singers: "You hear 10 seconds of Rod Stewart, you know it's Rod Stewart. Ten-seconds of Mick Jagger, that's Mick Jagger. Ten-seconds of Eddie Vedder, you know that's Eddie."
