Out of curiosity last night I went to several ticket reselling sites just to see what was being offered and at what price. Generally the resale prices are pretty darned high.
Twickets.live, though, is a ticket reselling site where tickets are sold at face value + a fee. Right now there are just 2 QAL tickets listed. Maybe over time there will be more.
Anyway, here are the QAL tickets in case anyone is interested:
Tues, July 30, Washington DC, 1 ticket $115, upper concourse, section 430, Row D
Tues, Aug 6, MSG New York City, 1 ticket $576.15, silver VIP, Section A, Row 8
Considering how high the resale prices are on most reselling sites right now, that NYC silver VIP looks like a bargain.
peace&love

So Kelly Clarkson's latest song "Heat" has gone #1 on the Dance Club Songs Chart, just like her 1st release from this album "Love So Soft" went to #1 on that chart. She has had a number of her songs hit #1 in dance clubs, tho, she never calls her music dance music and does not get labeled as such. How does this all work? Adam has never had a #1 on the Dance Club charts but he and some others have called his music dance music. I don't think the label dance music artist should apply to him but some of it seems more club worthy than Kelly's music or style, imo. Is this a matter of who supports her music and she is one of the beloved Diva's? She gets the benefit of many #1's on the dance club charts but does not get saddled with the dismissive label. Must be nice. He gets the dance/pop artist title from many but not the #1 dance hits. Her genres on Wiki are listed as pop/pop-rock/soul-pop. Adam's are listed as pop/pop-rock/dance/electronic. Oddly no rock listing for him, tho, he has had rock songs on all of his albums and is the frontman for Queen. All this is exactly what drives me absolutely crazy. Seem like people do get a certain impression of a singer and they tend to stick with it no matter what. Kelly does have the advantage of being the first Idol winner, which will always set her apart. And she has a great voice. And her fan base is loyal and set in stone. We've said here before that it would be great if Adam could get on the some of the other charts like Dance Club. Not only does he sing rings around just about anybody, but his music is every bit as good as anybody, too. Right after Idol, my son said, "Ok, Adam is great. But what are they going to do with him? How will he be marketed?" Turns out those questions are still being asked. I sure hope his new label thinks outside the box and is able to maneuver him into more advantageous categories. It's great to have the finest voice in the business and have a slew of very good songs. But if only one core group hears it, it's a damn shame. Adam brings down the house every time he does those special-event performances. Jaws drop left and right. Somehow, his own music gets lost in the shuffle.

Filter by the Dance Club chart. www.billboard.com/music/adam-lambert

There are so many other charts that I think Adam would fit and have a chance of award nominations, Dance charts is not one I even care about. He has been on them but just not #1s. I was only wondering why he gets suck with the pop/dance moniker when he does not have the great success on them like a Kelly. The EDM artists are the ones who get nominated and win in those dance music categories and that makes sense to me. I would love to see Adam able to compete and chart in some of the categories outside of and not limited to just pop.
