The AL fans just got a new song 'Feel Something' a few weeks ago and It's beautiful.. please keep playing it on ITunes and Spotify.. Getting to a million on Spotify would be great. Also getting the visual to 3,000,000 would be wonderful... Adam gave us a new song with all his feelings to go with it.. I'm happy for that and certainly have no problem with Adam's timetable. .He even made a video explaining how he will deliver new music..I listen to Adam's songs on a daily basis because it makes me feel good and sets up my day.. Some fans seem to have a thirst that can't be quenched www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuuNtD-xmhd1_aD3Q0apfzukTOS8Waf8o

skaschep I took Adams, or I selfishly like to believe so, 'bang along in the car' as simply up-beat not a strictly dance-pop...like the snippet i keep referring to. I know which snippet you are talking about and I'm not saying something like that won't be there. I just don't believe the main theme of the album will be like that. I'm sorry. But I'm just guessing like we all are. I expect Adam to amaze us all though and I bet there will be something on there for everybody. And I'm certainly not trying to force people to like something they don't. Music is personal. How you feel about it is something everybody does for themselves. Of course we all have our preferences. I just got the feeling that some were trying to push Adam in a certain direction that they liked. How are you then different from the labels that tried to push him into a certain direction? Have fans really been contacting Adam about what music he should put out and the direction? Or have they only told him when they really like something? He probably got a lot of great feedback on "Feel Something" but he probably gets that whenever he releases something. I think most fans love his music and that is why they are fans. If he didn't want fans to like different parts or styles of it, he would probably make it all the same or record just to please some. But he always seems to give us different styles on all his albums even if only his fans hear them. So there is always something to love even if every single released does not make me feel something. I think it is nice that so many can find something about his music that they love. That is a great way to keep your fans.

Lol, I love those.... As much as I love just about everything Adam has recorded, I must admit that a few songs are "skippers" for me, too. To me, WWFM is a repetitive drone. I know it was a big song for him, but to me, it's slow and plodding. JMO. BTIKM is ok. And I did like the NCOE video. I don't feel compelled to love every one of his songs equally. His voice is so good that almost all his songs work for me just fine. And many of them are off-the-charts outstanding. I just hope that his next batch of songs are real earworms that people can't get out of their heads. Songs that we want to hear a lot and don't get tired of. I think there will be plenty of those soon to come. I love WWFM, GT, and IIHY. And of course, WWFM won him his only Grammy nom. Those three are my favorite earworms.

The Box office results for BoRhap have been updated with the weekend results. Adding about 4 million total again with most of it from Foreign. It's getting closer and closer to 900 mil, but it's going slowly right now. Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $215,666,836 24.5% + Foreign: $664,051,169 75.5% = Worldwide: $879,718,005 www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=main&id=bohemianrhapsody.htmYa.. domestic is slowing down, only 256 theaters and next week could be even less... BUT now China is starting on the 22nd! It’ll be very interesting to see how that goes... i looked up Chinese movie industry - looks like it is as big if not bigger than here in the US... if the movie is distributed widely we can see a Billion at some point... something else to learn on this Adam voyage.. one of the articles on the subject variety.com/2018/film/asia/china-box-office-global-biggest-first-quarter-2018-1202742159/The initial release will be very limited, think art cinemas. But if it does well there, who knows...

Can we please stop talking as if the dance/pop image is something that was forced upon Adam? I find it very offensive to Adam to be honest. If there is anything he chose himself it is exactly that. All the music he put out is Pop. All his singles were accompanied by Remixes with DJ's chosen by Adam himself. Even if those two songs on Trespassing weren't forced upon him he would have put out Cuckoo and probably Trespassing as singles. Those songs are Pop leaning to dance. The whole Trespassing album was Pop (perhaps a bit ahead of time) and he had the most say in that album of all his music. His collabs are also all dance/pop when he worked with Avicii, Steve Aoki and Tritonal. Adam himself asked the DJ Ali Payami to give Ghost Town the Euro dance treatment. I know a lot of you don't really like that music, but don't put something on Adam that isn't true. In fact it wouldn't even surprise me if the new album will still be Pop with all kinds of influences. Adam's music taste was formed in the 90's which was the high area of dance and pop. As a 90's person myself I don't think you can take that club kid out of Adam even if he wanted to. And yes there will be Rock influences, Punk, Blues, Jazz and whatever. But the more I think about it the more likely I find it that the album will still be Pop. But of course I'll let him surprise me if I'm wrong. I'm open to anything that's for sure. So far I haven't really disliked anything Adam put out. Of course there are favorites, but I hardly skip any songs. I don't think anybody was stating that the dance/pop image was forced upon Adam. On the contrary, at Idol they were trying to push the rocker image while Adam kept talking about his vision for a "modern pop record". Pop is a very general term and there is good stuff out there, also from Adam, but what I have a personal issue with is the singles choices, whoever the decision maker was, while other stellar songs didn't see the light of day. That's my own personal issue. We all have our Adam favorites and musical preferences differ based on our cultural backgrounds and when our musical tastes were formed, but I think it is important to exchange opinions without feeling stifled. It is actually a good thing that different people like different stuff, but on the other hand I think it has become clear what really gets Adam noticed. I hope Adam is okay with that observation. I personally don't see Adam as a "rocker" and I agree that we can't and shouldn't quite take the club kid out of him (even Freddie wasn't immune to it lol), but for my personal taste it is his soulful ballads and the more sensual stuff that really gets me hooked. Even with the Queen stuff I am craving a return of "Love Kills" or "Save Me". Where would we put "Believe" or "Feel Something" or "Heavy Fire" for instance? Pop? Alternative?

I think it is nice that so many can find something about his music that they love. That is a great way to keep your fans. I think, Adam is in a special situation. Usually fans of a musician become fans, because they like his music. But that’s simply not the case for many of Adam’s fans . Early fans discovered him on Idol. He was singing covers. He won fans over with his voice and charisma. But his own musical direction had first to be developed. Then there are those like me, who became fans, because they attended a QAL concert. I love his voice and personality. To be honest: Had I just listened to him on the radio, I wouldn’t have become fan. I do like many of his songs. But his music is not, what captured me. It was him singing Queen. I think, here lies Adam’s (or maybe our?) main problem: What does his audience want? That answer is as divers as the groups of his fans are. Fans of Idol, of his pop music, of EDM, of Queen and rock... Fans from all over the world. That has often been Adam’s question: Whataya want from me? He never gets an answer, that helps him. IMO. Now he does, what HE wants to do. But does he know that? It’s a crux, when you can sing everything... He did release three albums of mostly pop music. That’s his thing. I guess the continued confusion about his musical identity comes from the fact, that he was the rocker on Idol and is doing rock with Queen. Conclusion: we should just stop talking of musical genres and enjoy Adam’s music.
