I just liked and hearted the Aussie QAL tour news on all major sites and media platforms and I left some comments too. Facebook has a tendency to attract more naysayers than other sites, so I think it can't hurt to leave and like positive comments there right away. Let's keep this party going!!!! That cropped Adam pic is hot one! Does the scarf look familiar to some too? I am joining bamafan in the "petition" to use that pic for tomorrows "news thread" header!!

I think GA on the floor of a stadium would be a recipe for disaster. Sitting on the floor of a stadium sucks too. Years ago we saw Elton John in the Farrier Dome in Syracuse from something like row 26. “Seeing” being the wrong word, since we couldn’t see a damned thing! My tickets for for The Rolling Stones in Seattle (whenever it happens - get well soon, Mick!) are far away but at least we’ll see something from the 3rd row of the upper level! In Europe GA on the floor of a stadium is normal. The difference to an arena is, that you have about 3 different categories with barriers between them. I think, GA is better than seating. Because people won’t sit. You will have to stand in front of your seat and you can’t really move, when tall people are in front of you. The good news for someone who likes a specific seat is you do not have to stand in line or camp overnight to get close up seats. I do not mind standing for the show, but one does not have to stand for hours prior to. I like knowing that I can if I wish...go to the washroom in the venue before the show, get a water, and not feel rattled, about being shuffled around. For me it is more civilized, and no one is crowding my body or pushing me around. I have never done floor GA. I have not had the experience of needing "depends" to do GA, like some have. Haha! Luckily QAL has had decent huge video screens...hopefully this time positioned around the stadium. During tours close to me --I was in three spots and vascillated between viewing the show, and viewing via the screens. I was close on the side in the stands, another 5 feet from the thrust and the "men", and once about 8 rows directly infront of the thrust, and was glad in all cases to view the screens for any view that was blocked, or just easier to view. I do know what you mean re seeing over and around people, yet in all of those cases I still looked at the screen for certain parts of the show !!! as it gave the best visual at that moment. The screens are are a gift. In fan vids those are in first rows are seen to be looking at the screens-- if they are interested in seeing the thrust performances up closer, which are behind them. Two of my nieces are presently living in the Gold Coast. (Husbands in university.) They got cheap seats for a Calgary show years ago, and they LOVED THE concert. I was going to help them get better seats but they bought a grouping of tickets for husbands/ friends etc. I will email them re the new tour. The last AU tour was too expensive as they would have to have organized sitters, and travel. This time with the Gold Coast venue, maybe their student budgets will allow them to more easily afford the cost to attend. 🤞 As an aside they play music when in the car and one daughter, 9 ish, goes on the internet and likes to learn the words to the songs. They sent a video of her singing We will Rock You, complete with dark sunglasses on etc. I know I could not sing all. The words without prompts of vocals in the background. Anyway, was cute they sent it to me knowing I am a fan of Adam's and vicariously Queen!
