I'm loving all this promo for the Documentary!!! Just think Adam is getting a 2 hr biography on national TV...and he's only 37! I know that Queen is the catalyst, but it appears Adam is the feature. This would be a huge accomplishment for somebody in their twilight years.....but Adam is just hitting his stride and has so much left to do. Watching the clip on how his first concert with Queen was in front of 300k people made me realize that if the documentary is going that way, it's going to make him a legend. I mean, we always knew how exceptional his abilities are, but now it's documented and presented to the public. The strange gap between who he is and to what degree the public recognizes it, is finally going to close. I'm sure that many current Idol viewers are not familiar with Adam's history with Queen. They maybe know a little bit, but not the details. This doc will be a real eye-opener for them. I was thinking during the show last night that most of the viewers have likely never heard Adam sing those Queen songs the contestants were attempting. We Adam fans know very well how Adam performs these songs. There is no one else who even comes close. I'm sure I'm more critical of the Idols' attempts because I know Adam's outstanding versions so well. I hope the doc gains Adam some more respect from those who are still skeptical. His vocals alone are beyond belief and the stage skills he possesses are up there with the best of them. People need to know that Adam deserves all the accolades he gets and then some. He has taken risks and pulled through them with skill and talents and grace and humor. GFG.

I love the front page so much today from "those eyes" at the top to the insomnia picture and more. I too had a bit of a hard time last night calming down after Adam literally smashed it with his mentoring role. He looked so good and he gave such insightful and honest advice, and I could almost feel how the contestants were a bit "star struck" by his rock star presence. He definitely has a presence and he "fills the room". Well, we all know that A lot of things must be going through Adam's head right now from the many "full circle experiences" to another solo career era and Queen chapter upon him. Exciting times but also adjustments to make!

I am excited about TSMGO Documentary tonight. But it will be great to relax, enjoy and just take it all in. The Idol thing had me almost over the edge in anticipation, lol. I guess it was the not knowing how the mentoring would go and if the contestants would be receptive. I thought it would be fine but the worry gets in the way anyway. But there was no need for concern as Adam was a professional as always. He was in the moment and listened and helped them. He used a little humor but never a look at me like they do on The Voice and at the Idol judges table. And he carried himself like the star he is, but put everyone at ease and focused his attention on them. I'm pretty sure most of them were very impressed and grateful for his presence. How often do the have someone who can help with vocals, delivery, stage presentation and performance? This Adam Lambert guy is a rare find indeed. lurleene I felt exactly like you did. Very much on edge. I think we fans want everyone to love Adam as much as we do. I knew Adam would present himself well, but there's always that chance that something will go south. But Adam had it in control like the pro he is. And people even liked his new look. The contestants were just fine. No one struck me as a star in the making, though. None of them looked like they could fill a stage with a presence that commanded complete attention. Adam could do that when he was still a contestant on Idol. But he is rare gem that hasn't been matched. The judges drove me nuts, but I expected that. They do the contestants no favors whatsoever with their gushing praise. Adam gave more valuable advice to each of them in two minutes than the judges probably give them in a whole season.

WOW, this is so good. Made me smile.
I literally couldn't sleep last night from all this excitement and we're only just getting started. Same. Last night wasn't the first time though that Adam kept me up haha. Good thing that I am a night owl in general.

They advertise that Simon Cowell contributes to the documentary, I am genuinely very curious to see what he has to say. He seemed to have such an ambivalent attitude towards Adam....blowing hot and cold...seeming to find fault, (perhaps for good television?) And though I think Adam won him over, he has said very little about him since (as far as I know) Looking forward to hearing that...and so much more. And yes, another sleepless night....

Haha, think it's my second, can't remember exactly but I remember being up past my usual bedtime... of 1-3am. I'm also a night owl but thanks to the fact I work on California time even when I'm in Toronto, I don't have to be at the office until around 11am.
And the graduation speech above this post was fantastic. How far we have come, still so much to do.

Adam was gorgeous and wonderful last night. He just seems to be peaking and I feel so happy and proud of him. It is about time because he has worked so hard,is so talented and there is no one who comes away after meeting him commenting that he is a great guy. He is a great man and has given so much of himself to his art. He deserves it all - everything that life has to offer. I know we all feel the same way and have invested lots of time into his life and career. I don't ever see myself not loving this man to pieces. Hi, Irish! Agree completely! You know what, I almost enjoy listening to Adam speak as much as I like to hear him sing. Well, almost. lol.

Plus --- "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell says he thinks Adam Lambert will win this season of the popular singing competition show. Cowell told Oprah Winfrey on Monday's episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that his money is on Lambert because the contestant is fearless, unique and "he's got swagger."May 12, 2009 And---April 25, 2009 “American Idol” still has five singers left in the competition. But acid-tongued judge Simon Cowell has already decided who he would like to see in the final round next month. “I’d ike to see Adam (Lambert) and Danny (Gokey) in the final because they are the best two singers,” Cowell told reporters at a TV industry event in Los Angeles on Friday.
