The Eye Of Horus Pendant is now at $760.00 and The Infinity Pendant is still at $700.00! This is such a great idea these two winners had to auction off their pendants for the Trevor Project!

So if anyone is interested in the RCA timelines for relases, it appears that Daughtry is following the exact same one as Cook and Kelly. Single released to radio 2 weeks ago. Released to i-tunes this week. Pre-order info for the album, just released now. Kelly's single was sent to radio 4-5 days before they released it to i-tunes. Her add date was one week later. RCA seems to be taking a different strategy with Daughtry. I don't know about Cook. His single and album did so poorly, that RCA might not have had the same aggressive rollout for this era. ??

This is interesting. Found this at Chunkey's site. It explains one reason why some people can't distinguish between real and fantasy (can we say "shippers!" ) t.co/KFCrsE7ZChunkey's site: www.thehomeplanet.org/

kapsiz!! thanks for the Alison Moyet vid. I loved Yaz in the 80's and always wondered about the singer. I will be looking her up.
SOMETHING has to tide me over till Adam releases his single. I've DL'd some soundgarden, Eddie Vedder, more P!NK, rearranged playlists on my iPod to creatively insert the Adam songs that I have not completely overplayed with some Led Zeppelin, Ben HArper, Melissa Etheridge and Sia. I've gone back to my roots, and sunk into my Grateful Dead bootleg collection..... The music will save me, the music will save me.

I don't know if we can tell anything about whether Tokio Hotel has a big lead or not. Yes, they have a number of "Super Fans" who are voting. I think they started out with that status - maybe they were voting on something in earlier rounds? But, we do not know how many of them there really are. Just as an example - if there are 50 TH super fans voting 500 times per day, that is 25,000 votes. If there are 200 Adam fans voting 200 times per day that is 40,000 votes. I'm not sure any of those Adam fans would show up as "super fans" voting since they are a lower level and have few points. I have been assuming that list is fans that have voted today that have huge numbers of points. TH *might* be way ahead, but I don't see any way to tell that from the voting site. Except, have you seen the number of points those Tokio Hotel fans have! Yikes?! Crazy!!! Yup! And that is why I don't think this is actually telling us anything. MTV is only listing fans who have voted recently that have VERY high total points - but those fans can still only vote 500 times per day. I don't know for sure, but I am assuming that there was something TH in an earlier round and they built up their points there since I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to be at that number of points if you only started voting during this round like we did. THis is the 3rd round for this thing - the earlier 2 were different categories. - but if there was something for TH then, those fans had that time to build these vote totals. Even though some of our voters are getting up to some pretty big numbers (I'm to 23,412 but I know there are some ahead of me since it took me a day or 2 to figure out how to maximize points) At best I can add 9000 points per day (if I get in all 500 votes all at 18 points each for twitter&facebook sharing) I havent looked at all the "superfans" but I think they are around 50,000 or more.

It seems that way because she got over 100 adds before the adds date. Her single permiered on her website on 8/30. It went to i-Tunes the following Tuesday, 9/5. It's official adds dates were 9/12 HAC and 9/13 CHR. But you are correct about the order of Daughtry being different. He went premiere, radio, then i-Tunes. Kelly went premiere, i-tunes, then radio. It's just that radio played her song immediately before even an add date. Must be nice! ETA: I think premiere, radio, then i-tunes is the norm so an audience builds on radio before the sales release. rheimer, your countdown is making me depressed because I really don't think we will have a single in 2 weeks. I'm not saying it won't be before Christmas(because I think it will,) but I doubt in 2 weeks. I think there would be some news by now, if we were. RCA started the Daughtry buzz after they got Kelly's buzz going well. I think Adam's buzz will start after the Daughtry buzz. Perhaps after Kelly's album comes out, 10/25. I have nothing to go on other than instincts.

Yes ... for our younger members, Shane was a wonderful Western movie. In the iconic scene at the end, as the heroic hero literally rides into the sunset, the small boy who has come to idolize him runs after him calling "Come back Shane! Shane, come back." The understanding of the boy's idolization of this man is truly touching. Rent it if you have not seen it. The best review I ever saw of this movie was short: "Even the dog is good." Gah, I'm not THAT young, and I've never heard of this film. Did it come out a really long time ago, or am I just out of the loop? [gins] Ok, just tell me this for anyone who doesn't want to admit their age.... Did it come out BEFORE "O'l Yeller", AFTER 'O'l Yeller", or about the same time? :D ETA: [evil grin] Ok, I don't know when Ol' Yeller came out either, but at least I remember seeing that as a TV movie when I was a kid!

Oh, you've GOTTA see it! It came out about the same time as Old Yeller.

Hoppers. I've only see it once because hubby forced me too. I really don't like westerns, no matter what the story is.
