Ok... this is absolutely the sexiest song ... Feel it... feel it...What does it make you want to do?

I really love "New Eyes" with its bluesy vibes and the guitars , and I also like the video to the song, but I agree that it's the first time that I don't understand much of the lyrics, lol! I'm so happy, that I like this new song so much because ... to be honest ..."Feel something" was not my cup of tea (... too boring and repetitive for me ), and so I was already worried that I wouldn't like this song either! But fortunately this isn't the case, so I'm really relieved now and also already curious about how the other songs on the new album will sound ...! Hi Betty! I think I like New Eyes for the same reason--> the bluesy vibe and those guitars! But like a lot of people, I couldn't understand one word. I've watched the video several times, but that's it for me. It's 4:39 minutes long, and Adam's in it for maybe 42 seconds... and some of those precious seconds of him are taken from a distance so you barely see him! I'll just stick to listening to the song (with the lyrics plastered on my screen)

A few more listens in, that's still a "nope" for me. Almost sounds like a "Slow Hands" ripoff. I wanted to be wowed but unfortunately see nothing remarkable or unique here. 😭

I am not sure what I expected, but this song and video is so Adam. So I started thinking more complexly about the video because I am sure Adam would want to be telling a story. The green elixir is creating awareness and strengthening a sense of self in each of the characters and the tieline is 'The Senses'. The old man was left out and then he TASTED the elixir and became part of the events The artist HEARD the music and connected with his art The women SMELLED the scent and saw connection with each other The young person SAW themselves truly with the lipstick and embraced an authentic vision of themselves And finally, I'm guessing Adam FELT something on that bed All five senses: touch, sight, smell, hear, and taste. Or maybe I am just overthinking it :D

I definitely hear a "Come Together" vibe. Sexy sounding throwback.
Hate that I cannot understand the lyrics. Since I know he can articulate very clearly, that is obviously for effect. But one of Adam's strong points is his ability to convey the lyrics. Having to struggle to understand what he is singing about detracts from my enjoyment in the song or my ability to get lost in it.
He sings it well. Uses different tones and textures to his voice. That takes skill, I know. But, the style does not lend itself to the luscious, rich, warm, enveloping sound I love from Adam. I don't need to hear a bunch of high, glory notes rattling the rafters. But, if he wants to dial it back, I want to hear the tone of Save Me, Stay, or Lilac Wine. For me, this does not take advantage of that one in a billion voice I love.
I am curious how this song will be received by the critics and the non-Glambert public.
As to the video, I"ve seen it a couple of times. That's enough for me. No thanks.
Hope this is the breakthru that Adam wants. Best of luck to him.

Holy shiite. Wow. Pure gorgeous velvet gold. Love the overall sound. Love the vibe. Love the way the opening guitar leads in to his vocal. Love the guitar throughout. Incredibly sexy sound and lyric. The chorus is gorgeous and completely addicting. . Yes!
