about the AFL thing, I think it's similar to the situation with AO and there have been threads/wank on both sites about it, basically new info, possible site changes, packages, etc. seems to be on hold/not getting approved with the changeover in management to DMG.

@kate's ankh is right about about the new management. I know that's the reason for the delay with the membership packages, and possibly other things as well. GC had forwarded what they came up with for the new packages to Lane for Adam's approval, then the announcement was made about DMG and Adam and Lane parted ways. Last I heard, GC has not been given a contact person at DMG. I can believe this to be true, because I spoke to Tim at Pennyroyal on Friday and he said basically the same thing. He was in the process of working on a new project with Adam, and now it's on hold because he hasn't been able to contact anyone at DMG. While we're all thinking - How hard can it be? How long could it possibly take? - Tim said he's been through similar situations before and it is very complex and can take a while. So in the meantime, we all have to sit here and wait. :( I'm not going to ask you to be patient, but rather "hang in there".

there have been similar mod comments on AO and another thread at AFL indicating a delay in getting approval, finding out info (like who is handling the charity:water pics now) but asking people to be patient.

I just hope that the gears are functioning a little more smoothly before adam announces his first single, and see the real value in independent fan sites :-*
