This reminds me of a recent political organizing meeting I went to where we are hoping to flip our district blue. I went expecting input from everyone on what we all thought were ways to move the needle. What I got was a here is what the leaders say, you need to sign up for this this and this, we've done it this ways over in that district and so that's what we are going to do here. I came away uninspired. I wanted to provide input and not be told what to do. I've printed out my own flyers for presidential candidates and knocked on neighbors doors, I ran once myself because I was tired of not having someone to vote for so I'm invested but I'm not good at taking orders. I view Atop the same way. We come here invested in our own ways but we didn't sign up as volunteers. People do things because that's what they enjoy doing. I dabble in numbers now and then but I don't have the investment that schachep does. I ran a weightloss thread for several years down in the Inspired by Adam section. I try to calm doom and gloom but Adam sometimes makes me laugh or roll my eyes and I write that down too. I'm happy for "If you want to" posts just not, "If you are a real fan you will do...." posts. Love this  |

Oh, just read a few later posts... funny... I am not picking up any negativity on this board... all I see here is real love and support for Adam and his multitude of projects.

Different perceptions for sure...Test: I was soooo very disappointed this morning upon finding out he cut his hair... is that statement a negative one? My atop universe is obviously different, because I rarely pick up on any negativity and infighting, either. There are times when folks complain about the negativity and almost always I'm like Huh?  I go back and re-read the thread, and STILL can't find the negative stuff, even when I actively look for it. And then I'm like WTF IS THE MATTER WITH ME CAUSE I CAN'T SEE THE NEGATIVITY there must be something wrong with my brain!!! Yes, nica... I'm disappointed about your hair disappointment.   But as you stated, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is the NOSE, and it's STILL THERE so it's all good!!!    |

Does anyone know if The Show Must Go On: The Queen and Adam Lambert Story documentary can be uploaded somewhere? I didn't get it If you have the ABC channel on your cable network...it's still up on Demand I think. ABC.go.com and type in The Show Must Go On in the search bar. I've watched it there a few times. I think it may be pulled on the 29th somebody said. I DLd it in TS 2 gigs on May 20th and I've been looking to see who put it up for DL. I don't see it from Jason and didn't see it on Scorpiobert's Twitter.....but somebody furnished that big file DL on May 20th. If you want to DL it......will keep hunting who made the DL I'm watching "The Show Must Go On" right now ,for the 25th time I think. It's On Demand ABC specials. and yes It's over on the 29th. I will be heart broken when It's no longer there.. It's such a great video and such a love note to Adam from Brian and Roger.I usually cry in certain parts,just because I so love Adam. Almost as much as Brian and Roger I think. |
