Did not know I am this invested... Rad... the BFM release seems very important for them (W&co). They will steer. They know Adam's Internet fan traffic. It won't just be the newsblogs that they will have an interest in; fan forums as well. Wonderstruck... I love your pov. Like I said earlier, W&co will fish. However we feel about whether this album should be released or not, the consensus among many fans seems, to me, to be that we won't buy. And that won't sit well with W&co. Like Adam said, we should unite as fans  , especially at times like these. Adam likes black. Don't get too distracted by the grey... I know they will.... |

***moving back here 'cause honestly I don't know where this belongs and people only seem to want to talk about it here*** lynne, I love all your posts on this (the citizen vein recordings, Adam and Monte), and your very good point that ultimately, this is just about business. I think it's when we try to fit that together with assuming friendship obligations either way that the feelings come up. For me the only questions I have regarding Monte and this is did he have a role in permitting the release, and I've seen no evidence of that, people are surmising that Welsford owned the rights, and Adam and Monte would get songwriter royalties. Also Wonderstruck's: We don't even really know if Monte didn't give Adam a heads up, if Adam's surprise on twitter is referring to when he first found out earlier in the week (though it reads like he posted shortly after finding out). If Monte makes a statement or Adam makes a further one we might found out more, otherwise I just gotta hope that whatever goes on behind the scenes Adam and Monte's public working relationship stays professional. I don't want stress about this for Adam at this time where he's finishing the singles and soon going to be singing one with some kind of backing band on my TV :D Also chasingeden makes the good point that we need to keep our eyes out for phish swimming around comments sections and itunes and amazon and warn others to beware:  And that fan gathering areas like forums and communities may need to watch out for suspicious greenery, and not just friendly plantbert:   |

Just wanted to note that when you type "Adam Lambert" into the search field on Amazon, "Adam Lambert Beg for Mercy" is now the third result -- it was fifth earlier today.
ETA: It may in part be a result of fans coming onto the page to post "FAKE" comments and trolls posting "This Album Is Amazing" comments, but nonetheless, anyone typing "Adam Lambert" into the search box is going to see BFM right up there.
