The last post we got from Javi at work was on May 20th I think. His job ...or what appears to be his job was listed on May 8th, link below. So best guess is Javi is no longer working at JMM...but we don't know for sure. The hours were awful and not compatible with Adam's at all. Have no idea if he's looking for a new job in the business field or is wanting to do some modeling. He hasn't commented about any of this so it's all speculation. IDK what visa requirements there are or what type of job qualifies or if he could work on a MBA, etc. I'm sure he and Adam are aware of the rules. fashionista.com/2019/05/jacques-marie-mage-is-hiring-an-international-customer-service-associate-in-los-angeles-ca

There is a reason Adam is losing followers on Twitter faster than he can gain them by his performances. There is absolutely nothing personal on there. Only business. So I guess I'm confused...I'm not on twitter at all...I hear Nica saying he needs to promote himself businesswise, but I see Skaschep saying he's losing followers because of lack of personal posts. So are other artists on SM promoting business or personal life, or both? Just curious as I don't follow anybody besides Adam...well, Clay but I think he's allergic to SM...it usually gets him in trouble lol. I think my meaning got lost somewhere behind the word “business”... to clarify: what I mean is Adam’s Social media presence is not engaging imo, he is not focused on “being interesting” . Yes he tweets some “official” announcements, but that’s not enough imo, and I think that’s what skaschep is referring to... his Instagram presence is relatively weak, he keeps posting other artist’s stuff with no reciprocity what so ever... imo “it is his business” to engage, to attract, to provoke curiosity and I don’t think it is happening... in short: I think skaschep and I are saying exactly the same thing

Not one to want to get too involved in Adam/Javi's personal lives. But I thought it was just last week that someone was trying to set some outlet straight about Javi's career. Maybe a good idea to let them handle their business, lol.

I'm not really sure what artists put on their social media, since I'm neither on Twitter nor on Instagram. I like Anthony Callea, a singer from Australia, and his videos pop up on Facebook periodically and that's always fun. He just posted on of him and his husband on a plane going on vacation. I also follow Tom Daley, British diver and husband of Dustin Lance Black, on Youtube and he posts a new video every week, sometimes fun, sometimes with Lance, sometimes silly...again, really fun. I'm sure Adam's been told to engage on SM, so again, he probably just doesn't feel comfortable doing it. I know he always looks a bit uncomfortable when he's doing the twitter parties. That's just my perception. He always looks way more comfortable when he's doing the radio promos etc.

No shade but I find it courious how anyone would make far reaching guesses regarding someone's employment status based on post or non-posts, for that matter, on Social Media. If you wanted to go by my SM activity, you'd think I don't have a job (far from truth) and that all I do is listen to Adam and watch the NBA.

I also don't post much for the same reasons as the poster above but I decided to put in an what I think is a more or less accurate timeline which addresses the ongoing discussion of the role QAL might have had wrt Adam's solo career. The first shows with Queen came after Trespassing was released in 2012 and though it hit #1, it was quickly apparent that the singles did not connect. This was clearly devastating for Adam as he later confirms, and QAL could not have come at a better time. It took a year for them to re-connect in Las Vegas and in that year Adam did some touring in Asia etc. but under what auspices could he have quickly come out with more music? His was in a bind creatively because of the whole RCA cover album demand. That was also the time his relationship with Sauli ended. He knew he had to switch labels and again, a QAL tour 2014 materialized out of the fall 2013 iHeart smash success - it could not have come at a better time. I believe he got the Warner offer as soon as he parted with RCA but with all the legal hocus pocus, he wasn't in a position to seriously work on new music. No way he could release a new album immediately. JMHO QAL did not stand in the way - the timeline was what it was because of how his solo career went. TOH released in 2015. Doesn't seem QAL interfered with that but that either. If anything, the problem in the US was the Demi Lovato arena tour debacle where Adam had to quickly reconstitute his venues. He did that TOHT tour along with QAL - both all over the world However, again, when the 2nd song did not connect, the solo career seemed to stall and as we now know, Adam was struggling with TPTB at Warner over his artistic identity. It took a long time to sort that one out - all the way until now in terms of a release of new music and in the meantime there was always QAL. Did that collaboration make that time longer than necessary? I have no idea but what seems clear is it contributed hugely to his ability to follow his musical heart and take the time to carve his own way - both from a financial and "familial support" point of view. I know and respect that others have strong feelings about QAL versus Adam's career. I am in the camp of it was a jinormous blessing. He was/is the rarest talent with or without Queen, but how many would have known about him? Could he have come back and done a fourth album with this kind of visiability given how things went? No way to answer that but I think looking at those years after his Glamnation tour through now, with respect for everyone else's opinions, I don't see QAL as an impediment. Thank you for this, Theosgma. Interesting to see it put so succinctly. i have always thanked the heavens for QAL...It has given Adam so much, imho - including, ironically, the financial freedom and industry awareness to pursue his solo vision now and in the future.

Somewhat OT: another Queen song placement - UP in the Amazon Prime’s Good Omens (sorry if everyone knows already...) youtu.be/hUJoR4vlIIsJust this morning watched the first two episodes and it is hilarious! Especially if you are a fan of things like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, or Monte Python.

Lol, that looks funny! Hubby has AZ Prime, I'll have to look it up. I haven't really been in the mood to watch any shows in a few years now, but that one could be good. You'd think between Amazon Prime and Netflix I would find something...but apparently I'm too picky lol.
