Oh man! It's almost down! And the funny thing is, in the balcony, we could see it happening and I swear I couldn't take my eyes off the damn thing (the zipper, that is!) He was having so much fun that night it was hard to know where to look. I was in the pit and wide eyed

And sometimes promo does start the week before. I used to watch Regis & Kelly back in the day and it was very common for them to announce, "And the single/album drops this coming Tuesday ..." My hunch is that radio promo will start immediately after the announcement is made, possibly a week-long blitz like Kelly had and the single will already be streaming in select places (AO? :-/ ) then TV in L.A.-area will start the week before the drop. Ellen and Leno are usually early in his promo rounds. Any other L.A. shows might happen that week as well. (Kimmel??? We will know soon enough if he is going to continue to be scorned by ABC >:( ... here's hoping that they will have quietly released the ban and he will be able to appear on any of ABC's shows live.) The week of the drop, he'll probably go to NY and do morning news shows, Regis & Kelly, possibly The View, Letterman and/or Fallon. Also possible on West Coast, SYTYCD (again, ABC big wild card there) and XF. *insert praying smiley* He might go to Australia and Germany, and the UK like Kelly did too. He'll have enough time between the single and album to do that. Remember, it's an international release! Then back in time for a few Jingle Balls! Oh, and Susie is my partnert in crime for Ellen! ETA: SYTYCD will not be filming during this promo. But I am hoping for X factor! I'm a bonehead, I meant DWTS (that's why the ABC disclaimer). Tommy twitter party response about A's album: @glittergirl0404 VERY excited... You guys are gonna love it!

I'm thinking the pushed back release dates were first, the extended GNT global tour. Second, the change in management. Third, Adam being in a creative frenzy. With the excitement Adam and the many collaborators have had about the album for months, I do not believe that RCA was anything but pleased. It was probably "good enuf" for them about 3 months ago. But Adam kept working, kept getting ideas, kept getting collaborators (maybe with the label's help or the management's help), and, when he asked for more time, the label thought "This is already fantastic. This will sell whenever we release it. If he wants a couple more months to make it even more awesome, we can work with that." I just cannot imagine a scenario where Adam submitted tracks to the label and they said, "Hmmmm. Wellll, these are pretty good, but, you can do better, can't you? Why don't you go back and give it a bit more?" Why do I say that? Because on AI, Adam had just a few behind the scenes musicians and arrangers. He was basically on his own. Yet, he picked great songs, a great "set list" for the arc of the show, polished the songs to perfection, and blew us away week after week. If he could do all that 2.5 years ago, if he could go into the studio and record something like "Feeling Good" in just a couple of hours, then by now, his stuff is gonna be divine. Yay!!

I sincerely doubt that Adam will say anything further and I do not expect Monte to say anything at this point either. I believe that we will never know what happened and we will have to live with that. I would not be surprised if Monte went his own way after this as he has his own stuff going on now. I spoke with Liam McEwan recently, and he said that Monte told him (off air) that he would tour with Adam next tour. Of course that interview was a few weeks ago now, and things may well have changed. Who knows what really happened? If there is an issue between them as friends / colleagues, then that just makes me sad... :(

LOL, a random little blurb that showed up on my Twitter feed: www.mr-l.org/adam-lambert-is-friggin-pleasant-by-eonline/Adam Lambert is friggin’ pleasant – by E!Online Just a note About Adam Lambert found on the E!Online in connection with the article about the good celebrities vs. the bad ones. Written by Ted Casablanca and Becky Bain (are they really wrote this one sentence together? don’t know…) Some celebs, believe it or not, are sweeter than sweet. Adam Lambert, for example, is always so friggin’ pleasant with us—he’d prolly trade hair tips with us for hours, if we asked Oh, Yes, He Is!
