I remember all of us being on line watching this either via TV or for us West Coasters, a stream on the computer. We were all stunned at the performance. Stunned in a good way! I think I may have been speechless! I had 2 friends, who knew I was a big Adam fan, call me afterwards and tell me how impressed they were and how he really showed up the talent for that year. I remember all the hilarious comments about sonograms, being beamed down from Planet Fierce, then the fun interview with Ryan about the tour being named Glam Nation Tour. Lots of good memories.

Interesting discussion of Adam's songs and his live TV performances.
I judge Adam's performances on the "Adam Lambert Scale". I think American Idol WWFM and Leno Sleepwalker are two of my favorite live TV performances of all time. Bar none. I could list a dozen Adam performances that rival those two.
But I think with a song co-written by Adam, a melody and lyrics designed to feature his incomparable vocal talent, and to express his inner feelings, he could surpass those performances.
So while I truly love every live TV performance (even the AMAs), I am convinced that Adam can surpass everything we have seen.
One other observation -- his VH1 unplugged performances are some of my favorites.
So just cause I have not seen it mentioned:

Do you mean you've never seen a Pop Up Video or do you mean when are they shown? If you've never seen one, here you go! thank you mys*&@^#r and stardust! I've never seen one and I have no idea when they are shown. They are quite adorable actually, so it would be great for any of Adam's videos! So, when are they shown? OT: now I can see how Gaga totally stole/copied Madonna. embarrassing IMO. everyone posting the YT's of Adam's performances - thank you! A great memory lane trip! I taped a few last week because I was under the misconception that Adam was already going to be on one of the Pop-Ups. I used to watch them all the time, years ago, and find them hilarious. Sometimes they can get a little rude, but they’re funny.

Midwifespal, I had forgotten how good that performance on Letterman was. Thank you! *sigh* ALL HEART indeed. He looked so good and sexy, and yet so vulnerable and humbled at the same time, you can see it in his eyes. It's crazy the ride we've been on following this man. I completely agree with psychedelic and whoever else brought up the live performances where Adam feels comfortable versus the others - especially when it comes to tv performances. I, too, have noticed the difference, and it totally sucks, because, naturally, he tends to get jitters for the most important performances. And so for performances where a lot of things are on the line, he sometimes doesn't show the best that he can do, which makes me feel so bad! Of course, even "not the best that he can do" for Adam translates to "amazing" by other artists' standards, so it's all good. I just wish he nailed, like really amazingly absolutely nailed a big awards show performance, you know? Kinda like what he did on Idol - again, a stage where he felt comfortable, because he had performed there so many times. I am so very excited about this next album! That is all. ;D I don't think it's necessarily jitters at all, it's just the chaos that is a live TV appearance. I was 10 feet in front of him during the Conan "Tonight Show" performance and things move so quickly and he can't move off his marked area. The cue comes in and it's Boom – GO!! They probably only rehearse one or two times through in the afternoon – while soundchecking – and the studios are like tin cans. I realized years ago that I do not enjoy musical performances on TV, talk shows in particular. I could never figure out why, but when I worked evenings, I used to watch Regis & Kelly in the mornings and Leno and Conan at night. I almost always fast-forwarded through the live musical performances and used to ask myself why. Even if I liked the group or song, the TV studio performance just grated on my nerves – they always sounded very thin and the instrumentation overpowers the vocals and IDEK, it just bugged.I seriously began to wonder if I just didn't like live music performed on TV (though there have been some PBS classical and musical theater performances that I've LOVED), but I think it was the talk show thing. Until Adam, I could count the number of times sat through and thoroughly enjoyed a talk show musical performance – let alone be blown away by one. I've loved all of Adam's though. The only ones I didn't really care for are some of the UK and Japan shows that seemed very rushed and crowded on stage, like he and the dancers didn't have enough time for rehearsal.

I see a couple other fans of the spats have made comments. This fun, campy performance of fever at the club Heaven also features the spats. Audio is not the best, but video is still very watchablepeace&love Now, that is an understatement, lol! And yes, I do love those spats--and the way he dances--and the big smile at the end! P.S. Juniemoon, you are right about the SYTYCD/PFLAG suit, too!

I know this has been mentioned before but there is no producer mentioned in association with the Bonnie McKee-Oliver Goldstein song. They work with Max Martin and Dr Luke a lot. They also work with Greg Wells who has tweeted about working with Adam again. Could this be a Max Martin-Dr. Luke track and Adam was just being cagey with his Max Martin tweet during the Twitter Party????

Yes, Oliver is a producer and I believe Bonnie is co-producing with him. I follow her on Twitter and she's made reference to projects that I'm sure she's producing w Oliver.

Oliver is a songwriter and producer. But Bonnie's big hits were mostly produced by Max Martin-Dr. Luke. Maybe Oliver is producing this track, and maybe I am overthinging the Max Martin tweet -- but why did Adam answer that question in the first place? If he isn't working with Max this time, why not just ignore it? Here are the producer credits on some of Bonnie's biggest songs: Taio Cruz Rokstarr "Dynamite" Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Taio Cruz Katy Perry Teenage Dream "Teenage Dream" Katy Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Benny Blanco "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" Katy Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg) Katy Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Snoop Dogg Fefe Dobson Joy "Thanks for Nothing" Fefe Dobson, Josh Abraham, Luke Walker Britney Spears Femme Fatale "Hold It Against Me" Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Billboard "Inside Out" Max Martin, Lukasz Gottwald, Mathieu Jomphe, Jacob Kasher Hindlin "How I Roll" Christian Karlsson, Henrik Jonback, Magnus Lidehäll, Pontus Winnberg, Nicole Morier ETA: Seems like someone posted a similar thought in a thread here a couple of days ago. IAC probably Oliver is producing it.
