I had to join because I must say I am really surprised anyone would question Adam's support of his friends. He has shown this over and over again (and even to other non-friends in the biz that he respects). I don't believe those of us on the outside have any real idea what this "debt" is, or even how he has repaid it thus far. It seems to me, though, that he gave Monty a job without having to audition, and has expressed verbally (and thru his eyes during performances) nothing but respect. Being a loyal friend is one of the MANY personal attributes that I love Adam for. I trust his judgement.  I'm happy you delurked! I agree with you. If Adam owes Monte anything for the CV gig, he has more than paid him back already. That said, I have no other opinions about this whole situation because I don't have the facts yet. I hate getting all upset about something and then finding out that I jumped the gun and was angry for no reason. So I'm going to suspend judgment about it all until I hear something from both Adam and Monte. |

Last night my hubby and I, and friends, had a night out, movie and dinner, and we went to see Moneyball. Brad Pitt plays Billy Beane, a present GM and part owner (small part) of the Oakland Athletics baseball team. Billy Beane in a flashback to his youth, is wearing a MT. Carmel shirt.
Of course upon getting home I check on "wiki" and yup!!
Billy Beane went to San Diego's Mt. Carmel High School. (I guess I hadn't had enough Adam fix yesterday with the twitter party.)
I crawled into bed and informed hubby of my investigative work. He kinda snorts and flops his head on the pillow. (Hoping I am sure for one day without an Adam mention.)

Monte and Adam may be waiting for the lawyers to write up a statement and this would not happen over the weekend so maybe sometime today or tomorrow they will be able to address this. i think all Adam's tweets where to divert our attention away from the drama.
