Make sure you check this video out. I started it and thought, "Oh, I've already seen this." But then I realized this had a lot more in it than the previously released version. Adam is so articulate. I really enjoyed this interview. It covers a lot and it is very well conducted, and it starts to get deeper at about the 8 min mark. Thanks cassie for the hint to watch til the very end! My favorite part ... Adam stating that he is living his fantasy!!! Not too many people on this earth can say that.

Speaking smelly, I have a prediction. I think that after a couple of long, intensive, very sweaty QAL shows, Adam will decide that deodorant and antiperspirant aren't so bad after all. Those new outfits he's getting are probably very pricey. If it was me, I'd say, "Bring on the roll-on! I need it!" Adam didn't say he wasn't using deodorant ... I think I heard him say he had switched to Crystal, which is a natural deodorant, no aluminums, etc. (TMI here) I made the switch several years ago, and what a difference! I use the solid stick and apply to wet underarms after I shower. It lasts longer (no getting smelly by the end of the day, or even the next day)! It's not an antiperspirant, but even when you perspire it doesn't leave odor or stains on your clothes. My whole family and many of my friends have also made the switch. And it's way cheaper ... $7 for the little travel size that lasts me a year! Check it out on Amazon. (No, I don't work for Crystal! LOL)

twitter.com/Newsweek/status/1141727420711677953Newsweek @newsweek How @rupaul is changing Hollywood and why "con man" Donald HeWhoCannot amed will never be on his talk show trib.al/sBpsgYHNow he's taking his brand of love and acceptance to daytime with his new talk show The RuPaul Show. It's unlike any other talk show currently on TV and is a perfect example of what it means to live Pride all year round. For example, where else will you see Adam Lambert talk about the new man in his life and also spotlight Sarah Cunningham, an Oklahoma mother who started "Free Mom Hugs" to combat homophobia in her community—all that in one episode, airing Monday, June 24 on select Fox stations.

That Variety article was good. But I wonder why no one ever addresses radio play. I would think that would be the biggest roadblock for most LGBT artists in the US. It is hard to become a big star without a lot of it, unless you are a rapper putting up crazy streaming numbers. Thankfully Adam had enough of it to go with his in demand status and media interest. But he has never had a ton of radio play, in the US, since WWFM. And it was not because his songs were not good enough, lol. He managed to do very well anyway but things could have been a lot better with more radio support.
