Oh, and jumping into the #petty pool. Remember, Scotty barely had any competition, whereas Adam had SuBo, Gaga, RiRi and Andrea Bocelli!  I am happy for Scotty even though I kinda expected even higher numbers - given the love of country music in the US and the huge support the country singers get from AI. It almost seems that this is the ONLY genre that does not have the AI stigma, but on the contrary - AI happens to be a respectable platform for the genre. in addition - he kissed the cross - which was a tremendous win with the public at large. IMO Scotty will become a huge domestic star, especially if he sticks to his low register (the only one that sounds impressive). Not sure that comparisons to Adam or any other non-country AI alum are valid... ...no Adam dreams...not once... |

You guys are lucky with your Adam dreams. All of mine lately have been about bad things happening to people and things I love. Dog getting hit by a car, hubby in a car accident, Mom's RV blowing up. I wake up right after the bad thing happens and am freaked out. I usually go outside and have a cigarette, but the whole thing stays with me. Sometimes I'll go back to sleep and dream the same damn thing. Then I usually just get up and play solitaire or read or something because it certainly isn't a pleasant sleep after them. I'd probably dream of Adam getting bit by a shark while wearing the aqua board shorts :-[. Haha! Me too! I never dream about Adam....and rarely dream about anyone else but my family. More often than not, I have an incredibly realistic dream about of of my kids doing something asinine, and then wake up ready to wring their necks! aurora those northern lights are gorgeous! Lucky you! OMG HE TWEETED ABOUT THE FIRST SINGLE!!!! SQUEEEEE!!!! |

And for those interested.
Scotty's actual unrounded numbers. He had 142 in "street date" violations. So, these numbers put him about 2400 behind Adam ;D
