Hey guys! Wasn't it last week that something was posted here from ALF that Ground Control Central was going to meet with the Mods over there and give them an update this week (maybe yesterday)? Anyone heard anything or is my memory all screwed up? LOL ETA: I'm sooooo excited about the first single!!! Hope Adam continues to tweet us and drop little hints.  ;D |

Hey guys! Wasn't it last week that something was posted here from ALF that Ground Control Central was going to meet with the Mods over there and give them an update this week (maybe yesterday)? Anyone heard anything or is my memory all screwed up? LOL It was supposed to be yesterday but the mods said it didn't come off. It's still supposed to be this week-ish though. Will post it over here when I hear something (if nobody beats me to it!). |

HSM- I'm not very tech savy so question. If I wanted to make a comment on that site to Monty would my name & email address go just to him or be posted? Sorry las, I don't know the answer to that. Maybe someone else does. In either case, please be aware that it is Monte's site, not Adam's, and to be considerate no matter what your viewpoint. Thanks. I see that the comments are posted with some full names, some partial names, no e-mail addresses. I don't think I'll post anything as I am conflicted...Imagine my horror when my sister-in-law had the "original bastard album" with her for Adam to sign at the meet and greet we were going to. Luckily I gave her something else for him to sign before we went to meet him. She had no idea that her son did not give them the official album. She and her husband wondered why he wasn't singing the songs on his album! |

Oh, hell - I'll go.
I think it's interesting.
To me, it is nice to know that Monte, indeed, was not another "mastermind" nor, seemingly, in cahoots with Welsford.
Monte doesn't comment one way or another on the ethics or timing of this whole thing, as far as I can tell (other than that they had nothing to do with him) and, I guess, he doesn't find it all "evil" or "underhanded" enough to ask that the album not be purchased.
Monte seems to feel that fans who like and buy this music are supporting everyone who was involved in it. My guess is that Adam might not agree that it's "supportive" of him or, better put perhaps, how he would prefer to be "supported."
"I urge you to please not fling any unnecessary negative criticism or anger at any musicians involved with this project" - that's fair, I think. I wonder if Monte considers Welsford a musician?
Adam will weather this just fine - I am sure of that. I think they'll be even less confusion this time than last time which is HIS album and which isn't. I hope that Adam and Monte's friendship weathers this, too, because I'm sappy and like to think everyone locks hands in the end and sings "Kumbaya."
(I hope someone else posted an opinion while I was typing, so I'm not first.)
