I really should be getting some sleep right now, cause I have to wake up early in the morning, but just had to go and watch Behind the Music on my dvr. Adam just looked so gorgeous on this.

A few things have moved from opinion/guess to posted as fact status over the past couple of years. I think it is really important that we separate the guesses from the facts. Perhaps instead of Urban Myths we should label them Adam Myths. But on the more important note ---- I really do not believe BFM will have any material effect one way or the other on Adam 2. If it's such a non-threat, why has RCA asked specifically to be alerted to anywhere it's being proliferated? They obviously perceive it as a threat. As Lulu's post illustrates, the link went out to 800 stations. That's significant. I agree with you, carrieb. So much information is disseminated in headlines, retail tags, ads and 140 characters. THAT is what people see and hone in on. They likely don't even realize they aren't getting the entire picture. It likely wouldn't occur to them. Isn't that why impulse racks are called impulse racks? They offer eye candy with the hopes that you will pick it up on a whim. I also contend that I was able to find Take One MUCH easier at every Target and WalMart I went to when I was monitoring. It was right there out in front for all to see. Actually, my Targets at the time had the alphabetical listings on the aisle-facing rack and Adam has yet another advantage in that his last initial is dead-center of the alphabet, so he at the center of the rack. This is something many products pay dearly for – in writer's circles, they always say if you're going to use a pseudonym, use a last name starting with K, L, or M, so you'll be at eye-level on the book racks. I search and searched the first time I ever tried to find FYE at Target and though I consider myself a decent sleuth, I had to ask finally. It was off on the Pop rack, which to this day I don't understand where or how (because I LOOKED on the Pop rack and didn't find it). The guy knew at least and was able to pull it for me. But I was tripping over Take One every time I went to Target. It was like a beacon. I took it as RCA not wanting Adam fans to annoy major radio stations with repetitive negative tweets. FYE was supposed to be in an end cap and in the Pop Section in every Target and Walmart that sold CDs from release until early January 2010. Then it was to be stocked in Pop. Yes TO was in both chains but FYE stocking level was significantly higher, The difference was FYE sold out for the first 3 weeks in many stores and TO did not. In any case, TO was released and distributed by a different company, which had major distribution power. BFM does not have this distribution level. BFM may not even be released, BRM may not be stocked in the major chains, We do not know what will happen. BUT it has a very different release schedule vs. TO. Adam #2 will be released 4 months after the announced date for BFM. That is very different from FYE being released one week after TO.

It will be interesting to watch how quickly or IF Clear Channel fixes this feed. For some reason I doubt it. Scroll down and you'll see that "Take Two" is listed as well - with the release date of Nov. 30, 2010 >:( I thought that album was never released (thank god) - am I wrong? ??? www.z100.com/iplaylist/artist/1152615/albums.html

fangurl1964 at idolsforum posted this. But this is Adam's Official MySpace www.myspace.com/adamlambertWhy can't I find BFM when I go to His Official Myspace but it's on that link She provided? Am I missing something or is that a trick? ??? I don't see BFM on either page but I think the difference between the two pages is that the second one is Adam's official music page. The first one is a MySpace Music page, run by myspace, and they have artists pages. Not sure if that makes sense, but that is how it looks to me.

I posted the other day in that new moderator thread an AO that Vh1's artist page for Adam Lambert still shows both Take One and Take Two when you click on more albums. By the way did you know that for at least a year and even after he was their Posted artist Vh1 had exactly one album listed in Adam's discography and it was Take One. The didn't even have FYE listed. I don't remember if I ever figured out how to send a complaint or what finally made them change it but now all of Adam's releases are listed even the Idol ones but they still have Take One and Take Two listed as well.

Take Two was never released. But did anyone complain about it being there? Wasn't scheduled for release at the time of a big album for Adam. IMO, the biggest of his career. No one noticed, is my guess. The listing for Take Two appeared not long after the initial mention of the plans for Adam's second album. He was initially supposed to start writing during the European tour and talked about a Spring release. The date for Take Two would have been the same timing that we are looking at now for BFM if Adam had stuck to his original schedule. I think Amazon's link for Take Two remained up until shortly before the release of Glam Nation DVD.
