ADAM LAMBERT @adamlambert Sharing my personal ‘Notes on Camp’ w the country: “For “Bicycle Race” Lambert emerged on a motorcycle wearing a diamond-spiked leather jacket looking like the love child of Rob Halford and Elizabeth Taylor or an Oakland Raiders fan in a Pride parade.” Nice to see Rob Halford acknowledged by Adam even if indirectly. Rob Halford of Judas Priest - known as the Metal God for his spectacular vocals - has been riding a motorcycle on stage for decades. Appears to be an obvious influence.

In Machines, the four screens in the middle are rotated, angled, and positioned outward as shown below. For anyone who has seen the show, are they fully articulated and positioned differently for different songs? Are they the same four screens that are above the opera boxes? I need to start making a list of questions for what I bet is going to be a mind-blowing back stage tour. Can't wait. Linda, I don't think anyone answered your question about the four screens. They are fully articulated, they did move them about to different positions for several songs ... they can move backward and forward as well as tilting up and down. And yes, they are the same four screens that are above the opera boxes. Very effectively used with different projections on them ... Thank you for answering. There have only been two shows, so I knew my answering pool would be small but you came through for me. I have a hard time taking my eyes off Adam so I had a difficult time verifying ... I just kept being distracted by prettier moving parts. Really looking forward to a backstage tour this time.

Pet peeve here but nobody is using "holograms" for anything. The shots of Freddie in the show are video clips. An actually hologram is a totally different animal all together.
As for Brian he was not replaced on stage at any point by hologram, cyborg or even video. He made a silly joke about his cyborg style outfit that he wore during BoRap but it was just an outfit. A silver mask and various multicolored pieces that looked like they simply strapped on over his clothes.

I seem to remember Rob Halford either meeting Adam, or talking about him in the early days...am I remembering that correctly?

I'm aging myself, but that's the only Star Wars I've watched lol.

Brian was simply dressed in a costume and made a joke. Plain and simple. And yes, holograms and videos, etc. are all very different things.

it is completely obvious to the audience that it is Brian in a costume. Nobody could possibly think otherwise. He is poking fun at himself by blaming the "robot" I took a photo of him last night and it is on my twitter.

I vaguely remember Brian saying early on that he didn't like the use of holograms and that he would never do that to Freddie, so I'm certain he would never do it to himself either. I think he was being asked if they would include a hologram of Freddie back when the concerts were first announced.

The next show is in San Jose which is south of the bay. It could be they landed on Oakland International Airport. Ahh yes I think you're right. They drove over the Bay Bridge and there are images of looking at SF as they drive over on his IG stories. I'm not seeing the photo with caption Pier 39 on his stories.. got that image from someone I thought had captured his IG story, but maybe not. I didn't see Pier 39 either, and I think that someone may have confused it with the Ferry Building that you see when crossing the Bay Bridge. Having said that, I hope they won't visit Pier 39. That's a major tourist trap - something that Javi isn't very fond of anyways. I hope they'll do the Crissy Fields walk from the Marina to the Golden Gate bridge. That's spectacular and by the beach, and you get a perfect impression of San Francisco this way - Skyline, Bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. I always take my visitors there.
