Cassie - I agree with you completely on your latest comments about QAL. Back in the day when I saw Queen with Freddie Mercury, Freddie was such a dominating force that Brian, Roger, and John seemed to be more of backing band. Now Brian stands out as the fine guitarist that he is, and Roger's skills are now also brought to the fore. And I also appreciate Adam for who he is as he always acknowledges all the band members, whether with Queen or with any of the single tours he has done on his own - because it is a team that makes this all work - he is very gracious in that respect.
BTW - I was so glad to be able to bring my granddaughter to the concert in San Jose. I told her before the the concert that there would probably be a lot of flashing lights and spectacle, but above all, LISTEN TO THE VOICE! An opera singer may have one or two major arias plus some ensemble numbers during an opera performance, but Adam was singing his heart out on his own for over two hours. To me he's the most remarkable singer I've ever heard in my lifetime (all 80+ years) - and yet he's also a nice guy & down to earth.

Demi is with Scooter Braun now, she left Phillymack a while ago. Phillymack hasn't posted anything about Iggy for a while either and she's got a new song out. Their social media is all Jonas.

Very nice to get SOME RECOGNITION. I often wonder how some of those highlighted in these magazines even make the cut for a picture -- but whatever...Adam in that amazing suit. Yay! Have to agree the Jonas boys and Demi got a lot of opportunities with Philymack, before all the changes-- with Demi, and Roc Nation stuff, but I was not jumping up and down with excitement when Adam was linked with him. It is so challenging to know what the management has done for Adam or if Adam is approached and management of course still gets their cut. Adam may have unfollowed...but is he off their client list. Hard to find on google. Edit add. I went to Twitter and in May there was one lone announcement about New Eyes. Nothing re tv appearances for New Eyes or the release of Coming in Hot. So maybe he is not with them. Lost in the dust of the Jonas Brothers.

cassie , Adam is the quintessential team player. And, yes, Roger has a very demanding physical role in the band. Not many people would have the physical stamina to put on one of these shows. It seems that they really are a loving family and that Adam is respectful and protective of his idols - Brian, Roger and Freddie. He is just so fantastic that I got swept up in what Brian did when he called out Adam after Doing All Right and he repeated his name for more applause and noise from the audience. It seems that Brian wants to hear Adam being more appreciated as well.

Nice when Adam gets props though I live for the day a review (not pseudo ones by fans) focuses on the weight of Adams contribution instead of the weight of Freddie’s legacy... starting to irk me. But I realised it will never happen the reality of the FLD is too big to overcome. Adam sees that all the articles mention his speech more than they acknowledge his performance sometimes (or the number of times he changes outfits). I guess he likes it. I think they would bring up Freddie anyway and that is fine. But it makes it so easy to say he is not Freddie when he says it himself. I don't think anyone wants him to be Freddie or thinks he is trying to be Freddie. Most are just delighted that Queen and Adam are throwing down and giving them a show they won't soon forget. Brian and Roger went out of their way to say how great Adam was for Queen in the documentary. Not Freddie but different and very valuable to what they are accomplishing now. He helped to bring them back. They say it in articles over and over again. They are filling up arenas with Adam as the frontman. They have done their part and everything they can to say Adam is worthy and to give him the credit he earned and deserves. Freddie is honored in the concerts. But the elephant in the room has been showing up for years but not in the minds of most, imo. And the press is going to run with it every time when you deliver it on a silver platter.

A few shows back, it did look like Adam might omit or modify the Freddie homage just a bit in his speech. But no, I think it's there for the duration. So be it. Freddie and his memory are so dominant in Queen that I guess it's just the way it's going to be. I think Adam expects that the Freddie adoration speech will be a part of the show, period.
And it's true, back in the days of just QUEEN, Brian and Roger and John had more of a backing band role. But now B and R are feature players, and I think it's the best way to play it. They are the legends. Makes for a more interesting show. Their personalities come through, and it makes the show more personal. Adam is the perfect person to fill out this band.
And I very much enjoyed viewing what we assume is Adam's butt.

So, are we going to order the soundtrack for Playmobil or just Adam's song? I generally just order his song when he is with others (Think, As Long As You're Mine) but maybe the soundtrack would be better this time cause he is in the movie.
