I don't understand these numbers ... $2.5M from touring? They could net that from just a couple of shows! This is just USA touring, after expenses. In 2018 QAL USA was the LV residency only. Check the methodology in that article for details. Sorry, I didn't read the whole article. Thanks for the explanation. |

Did y'all hear that very last riff? The very last line of the final encore, after a 2+ hour show? I've got to hear that again. It was complicated, up and down, topping out at an F5 briefly, and sustained for how long???? I need to time it. That run was very difficult to hit vocally and to perform over that length of time, that high, that complex. Thirty minutes into the show and it would have been hella impressive, but after singing for over two hours? Inhuman!

Thanks to everyone who responded with your comments and thoughts about the speech. You gave me much to consider, and I know I need to just chill out because, as I and many of you said, Adam will do what Adam will do, and he has his own reasons. I also agree that it is doubtful that Brian and Roger would really direct Adam or that part. Sizzling63, I always enjoy how you consider as many viewpoints as possible. I have to admit that when I first read “Rime...” in high school, many of us in class would focus on the decay rate of the albatross in the most specific ways. Of course, this was not at all the main point that we were supposed to be getting, but it was lots of gross fun.
Again, thanks all! It is nice to have a place for an exchange of ideas. My husband, who likes Adam nowadays, is still a much bigger fan of Freddie, is quite happy for me to be on here.
