Brian just posted farewell Chicago. Since he said there was a "glitch" in their schedule and they are travelling today to Nashville I presume....I guess they were originally going to stay in Chicago until tomorrow and fly into Nashville day of show.

twitter.com/DrBrianMay/status/1161731283216527360Dr. Brian May @drbrianmay Farewell Chicago ! This has been my view for the last week - not bad !! I’ve seen it in sunshine and in rain and seen it disappear in fog ! Only to reappear glistening like this. I think Chicago is a beautiful city, with a strong architectural soul. We’ve been ‘hubbing’ out of Chicago - which saves in packing and unpacking, but honestly I don’t recommend it. It gives you twice the amount of travelling time, and I feel like I didn’t really experience St Paul or Culumbus at all. I like to breathe in the life of a city - it’s a rare privilege. But now - au revoir Windy City. On to Nashville ! Yee hah !!! Music City !! — As usual, swipe between parallel stereo, cross-eye stereo, and mono ! For those who care about hyperstereos ... my baseline between iPhone sequential shots here was about 4 feet (a little over a metre). And I always use the i3Dsteroid app now. Marvellous ! I noticed that the videographer who took the videos posted on page 1 also attended a concert by Heart, so I watched the video of Barracuda taken on 8/5/19, remembering how much I liked Adam's version on Glee. Well, it was disappointing and the original singer doesn't have the voice anymore.. I don't follow them, so I don't know if there were extenuating circumstances why she was in such bad voice, but I had to immediately find Adam's version.. this performance wasn't talked about and praised as much as his cover of Marry the Night, but I really liked this version, and Adam sounded fantastic. She's 69 years old now and recorded the song in her 20s! cassie I'm curious if singers naturally lose their voice as they get older, or do other factors come in play? Is this how Adam might sound when he's 69?

She's 69 years old now and recorded the song in her 20s! Just want to reply to this in support of Ann Wilson of Heart. She has truly been a great rock singer and a great trooper.
No doubt! I remember hearing her sing Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Honors for Led Zeppelin, and she was great. My comment was just about that particular video I saw.

Don't think this one got posted already: Loud Hailer @loud_HailerMag Concert Review: @queenwillrock + @adamlambert at @unitedcenter in Chicago, ILhttps://www.loudhailermagazine.com/concert-reviews/queen-adam-lambert-at-the-united-center-in-chicago-il/ Queen and Adam Lambert reigned supreme as they brought The Rhapsody Tour to Chicago’s United Center for a night crammed with all the hits. Queen are certainly at the forefront of public consciousness following the box office smash, Bohemian Rhapsody. These rock icons will always draw the crowds, but looking at the variety of age groups in attendance, it certainly looks like the film has had a positive effect in making the younger generations more aware and appreciative of their music. For the last eight years, Adam Lambert has stepped into role of vocalist, but as he is clear to point out, he isn’t there to replace Freddie Mercury. They would be some pretty big shoes to fill! As it is, he pays homage and respect to the larger than life former frontman, whilst also including a lot of his own personality in the performance. He had all the required swagger and panache with a healthy dose of camp, and a vocal range to die for. Brian May, Roger Taylor and Lambert all had their moments in the spotlight throughout the night. Lambert appeared thoroughly at ease draped across the revolving motorcycle during “The Bicycle Race.” Taylor’s main moments included taking the vocals for “I’m In Love With My Car” and expertly harmonizing with Lambert for “Under Pressure.” Brian May performed a stripped down “Love Of My Life” which brought a tear to everyone’s eye as Mercury appeared on the video screens as if he was interacting with May. Asking everyone to shine their cell phones instead of the usual lighters, you could be excused for thinking the house lights had come on, and really added to the sentiment of the moment. Astrophysicist May also took to the rafters to perform on a virtual asteroid – how can you top that? Freddie Mercury may be gone, but he is certainly not forgotten. It was impossible not to feel emotional at various points throughout the night. It felt at times as though Lambert was channeling him right there on the stage. At other times, you were transported back to famous past performances such as when Freddie lead the audience in call and response of “Ay-Oh”. As the song says, the show must go on, and it surely will. Based on the evidence of this show, there is certainly no lack of love and support for Queen. Regardless of the recent movie release, you feel that the audience will continue to come as long as the band see fit to tour. It’s incredible to think that May and Taylor are now in their seventies, and of how long ago so many of the songs they performed were released. It’s still impossible not to join in with the stomp-stomp-clap of “We Will Rock You” or the Wayne’s World reenactment of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The music transcends time and remains as relevant today as it ever was, as evidenced by the span of ages in the audience. Throughout the night Taylor provides that thumping backbeat and May expertly knocks out those iconic Queen riffs in that unmistakable tone that regularly makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Whilst it’s impossible to see the band without thinking of Mercury, this is much more than some kind of simple “tribute” show, and a great deal of credit should go to Lambert for that. Throughout the night he expertly walks the tightrope between honoring the legacy of Freddie and putting his personal stamp on things. As a result, the band still feel vital and seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves on stage and those good vibes pass to every member of the audience at the United Center. Queen will indeed still rock you if you let them, and we’d suggest that you do. The US tour continues through August 23. More photo's on the site!

I think Brian's whole set in absolutely wonderful. I love the Love of My Life part. It's so tender and sincere and the crowd loves it. It's one of his signature songs. And the asteroid portion is so impressive, IMO. Brian is considered one of the very top rock guitarists alive. His part of the show is to feature his magnificent guitar talents. I'll bet that there are people who attend the concert primarily to see him. I don't find his part of the show boring at all. I just revel in the beauty. I think it is great that the reviewers are giving him a bit more press. He works his butt off. He deserves it. And Lord knows his fingers deserve it. Did you know.... that beautiful melody in the middle of Brian's space voyage solo is from the New World Symphony by Dvorak. Clever man to incorporate a classical tune with that title. youtu.be/ASlch7R1ZvoThanks for letting us know that Brian incorporated a classical tune!! I think his guitar solo has improved a lot over the years and I find it really sharp visually and musically. I very much prefer it over the "Love Of My Life" part, which is just too much for me. I do recognize though that most people like it. I will check out Dvorak's New World Symphony now
