In the 2000s, Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor partnered with Bad Company's singer Paul Rodgers for a series of recordings and tours. In 2012, May and Taylor recruited a new vocalist, Adam Lambert, from “American Idol,” and went back out on the road. “Adam is a real gift from God. He’s a voice in a billion," May has said of Lambert. "I’ve seen Adam develop just like I watched Freddie develop.” Following the success of the Oscar-winning 2018 Freddie Mercury bio-pic “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Queen + Adam Lambert, as the current incarnation is billed, launched this year’s Rhapsody Tour. On Tuesday, the post-Mercury Queen will headline a show in New Orleans for the first time, at the Smoothie King Center. Tickets are officially sold out but available, for a premium, on the secondary market.

recordingacademy It’s time to bust out the record player because it's #VinylRecordDay 🎶 Whether it’s #StevieWonder or #LaurynHill, these artists stopped by our HQ to show how classic vintage vinyl is as much these artists themselves. Not to mention how each record brings back a memory of a specific moment in their life or how it has inspired their career. I love the song titles on the Velvet album! VERY provocative! Makes my heart race just thinking about them. I am ready for a major outburst of really good music. And the promo should be fun, too. Hope he gets some major media spots. Nice that it's coming on the heels of the high-profile QAL tour. Adam has been in the news and reviews for a while now. Good timing. My skin in tingling!
And I hope to God that Adam sells that house this time around.

Yeah really, It's that huge wading pool that I believe is the problem...WTF now lounging chairs shown in about a foot of water... pictures better without them
