POSTER, please!!!! ( insert begging smilie). Not only is the photo of that gorgeous face totally UNF, but the author of the article captured the self-aware Adam that he acknowledges only his Glamberts get. Win win win
Adamrocks, will root for your Cards. (sigh)
Linda623, Mona Lisa essay was well done. Thanks for sharing!

Feedback @ advocate.com
I sent them feedback--need to encourage this type of coverage of the self-aware side of Adam IMHO.

I particularly loved this bit, because as Gelly said earlier it's so wonderfully self-aware and also unpretentious, which is really the best kind of pop-star to be--someone who somehow manages to be a perfectionist and artistically and commercially ambitious while still remaining unpretentious about what it is he is doing: I pick up this kind of energy among young people that it might not be the coolest thing to say you like Adam Lambert’s music. People don’t think that I’m cool. So I love that I have the kids who are like ballsy enough to be like, ‘Fuck it, I like Adam’s music.’ I mean, I am kind of a nerd. I feel like there’s a collective eye-roll when it comes to me, in the media and just in general consciousness — with the exception of my amazing Glamberts, my hard-core fans who are the opposite.”
But he’s taking it all with a grain of salt.
“It really is a dream job, and it’s really cool. I do stop and keep it all in perspective. This is pop music, and it’s not fucking brain surgery. I mean, some of it’s serious…but some of it’s just really fun dance music. And I’m wearing eight pounds of makeup because I fucking want to. Why not?” Gah, this just says so much, about the image-tradeoffs to being "mainstream," about what Adam's sense of his own image is, about how important it is to him to be accessible to a group of people who are perhaps particularly searching for someone like him, and about what he thinks music is about and for. To at once sense the importance of being accessible and visible, and at the same time not give a fuck about how people react to that visibility--damn, he's awesome. Love the article, love your comments, but one thing I wasn't sure of in this section was whether he was mostly still talking about his gay fans (I'm assuming male) when talking about the young people and the uncoolness factor. The eyeroll comment is obviously more general though. Also for kittykay who asked earlier, the MTV O award voting for FanArmy is still ongoing, don't forget to vote! The winners will be announced on Halloween during their livestream (the beginning of which will be broadcast on MTV TV). Kelly C., Demi L., The Band Perry and others will be performing or presenting: www.mtv.com/news/articles/1672371/steve-jobs-o-music-awards-mtv.jhtml

Great Annie!!! Now I don't see any backgrounds either!!!! WTF is going on? I think his hotness break the twitter again! ;D Love his Advocate interview: I have to wait for the Era2 to see if the young gay still sparsely distributed within the fanbase. I would think they love his GB more than us?? I don't see what the other pop divas have and Adam does not have. Only he has a killer voice. Maybe he is not sexy enough for them???? I saw Gaga sang Bill Romance to sexualise the Clintons on The View this morning! Hope his music good enough to change the attitude of the general public! Keep finger cross Gay guys love their divas. Adam loves Madonna, Gaga, Rihanna, Christiana, KP, etc. Gaga was awesome at the Clinton Concert. Gaga changed the first two intro lines of "Bad Romance" to "Bill Romance", she also changed the lyrics in You and I to "Arkansas nights", etc. She always ad libs and changes her songs to fit the event or performance. Bill, Hillary and Chelsea were loving every minute of it!
