if you have time - please vote: www.omusicawards.com/vote/fan-army-ftw/adam-lambertthe Advocate interview is awesome! His self awareness and self confidence is truly inspiring! I can't wait to see more Adam in the mainstream print media as well, as most of the occasions lately were LGBT related, which by default limits the exposure to a quite limited audience. I want him EVERYWHERE!

That dude is weird. Sorry. Plain weird. I never rlly followed him but found myself reading his post about Freddie Mercury on his bday (or anniversary of death? Not sure...) where he was projecting all sort of self hating gay crap onto the fact that Freddie never was officially out in his lifetime. Like he was vicious about it as if he had his own issues he needed to deal with before he started to attack a long dead celebrity for the big announcement he felt he owed the public. Really pissed me off. And now this post....is he even reading the same article or is he just stupid? LOL Srsly. Maybe comprehension is hard for him, because he tends to see Adam's words as a very strict black and white issue--he said being a gay pop star is hard therefore he must mean HE HATES BEING A GAY POP STAR. Erm, no. He clearly states that it has it good things and it's bad things and he is trying to navigate his way through uncharted territory. Not black and white at all. Firmly in that lovely shade of grey. So either he is an idiot or he wants to sensationalize crap to get people all in a tizzy and click click click. And yes, as a fellow blogger I understand he is totally allowed to his own opinion. It doesn't however mean I can't ridicule it (as I am sure others have ridiculed my opinion before...que sera sera!) Wow...I was....wordy on this topic lol I understand and respect your POV. But, I have a different take on it. I think, in his own way Steve wants Adam to know that there are gay men out there, Kiwi gay men for that matter, that love the flamboyant Adam, that, in fact, love the over the top, wild, freak side of Adam. I think Steve is afraid that somehow the marketing agenda will normalize the awesomeness out of Adam's image, that they won't go the daring route. I feel like this is the source of his disappointment. Adam does sometimes sound like he is almost apologizing for cover of his first album and apologizing for the theatricality of the Glam Nation tour. And I will confess that my heart hurts just a little when I sense this because everything he did was so much more amazing than the typical awesome rockstar. I don't want him to feel in any way apologetic or sheepish about anything he's done. Obviously this is just my POV. Adam's theatricality to me is part of his incredibly vibrant charisma and for him to try to be this idea of a rock star would be reigning part of his total talent package in. We don't want a rock, funk, whatever star, we want an Adam star which may include all that but is that much more because of who Adam is and of course his sexuality is part of that. I don't think it is in fact possible to reign him in when it comes to the stage but I do think they might market him on the conservative side to increase mainstream acceptance. I just want him to know how incredibly awesome, amazing everything he put out really was. Daring and fantastic. Anyway, I believe that may be a little bit how Steve Grey feels and that he doesn't want to see a conservatively marketed Adam. He wants to see the daring, utterly free-to-be-me, completely unapologetic lion. this is not to say I know how Adam will be presented in the media, how his image will be marketed. Nor is this to say that i think if they do market him, or he markets himself conservatively, he is not being that daring lion. Adam is the daring lion. He's already shown that and if he wants to increase his fan base into the straight men arena, or more conservative straights or gays, maybe this is what he has to do. Respect. Sometimes it is just hard to watch when you know. All this being said, I have absolutely no idea what Steve Grey really thinks. I am projecting my feelings and am aware of this : )

These are the WORST of the bad guys. These are the guys who did TAKE ONE. And this is even worse than Take One!!!! I think she was talking about Moser/Lehigh Valley. Sorry I had to leave and could not clarify -- I was referring to Burtscher and Rene Moore the two people responsible for "Take One" and the "Paramount Sessions" albums.

perezhilton.com/2011-10-17-adam-lambert-new-album-gay-advocacy-interview-details-kissing-keyboard-player#.Tpzfa94g_UBGlambert Talks Controversy & His New AlbumAn album that we are waiting for with bated breath! Adam Lambert was interviewed in this month's issue of The Advocate and he doesn't hold back on anything. Remember when he made out with his male keyboard player at the American Music Awards? Yeah, he talks about that. Remember that Details photo shoot? Yeah, he goes there! And of course, he chats about his next album, due out next month, which he calls his most personal to date. Check out these HIGHlights from the interview: .... .... We'd like to think there will be a time when people aren't defined by their sexuality, but if nothing else, at least people like Adam are doing what they can to work towards that. Good for him. Now, give us a taste of the new album!!! A single, a sampler - ANYTHING!!!
