@girlphenom Lina the Phenom ...um. Radio at work just said Maroon 5 (Adam Levine's band) is performing at the AMAs. Google tells me this is long confirmed. Thoughts?

AMA's booking Adam again --- I am skeptical. I am holding a really big chunk of salt. But it would be a big promo moment for the AMAs and for Adam.
VH1 Unplugged #2 for Adam #2 --- best news all day!!

Fuck.....I wanted our Adam performing. I was hoping his new management company had some real savvy in promoting our boy.

Sorry missed that. Yea- it says they all signed on this year - I'd be surprised if Sony would time it so long before the album comes out. I sadly think we might have to wait until 2012 as it says "This year, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Mumford & Sons, Adam Lambert, Adele, The Script, and Lykke Li have all signed on for their own Unplugged concerts." Sadly that doesn't mean they will air this year. I really hope I'm wrong about that but generally record companies want such major exposure events when there is new product to buy (and not just singles) ???

The article says they are starting a new season of VH1 Unplugged, so I think this year = this season, so early next year when the album comes out but still this season for VH1.

DUDES!!!! The VH1 Unplugged thing is pretty much confirmed. I mean, they say THIS YEAR, they clearly specify Adam Lambert AND It's the Hollywood Reporter, so trustworthy news source. Can we all implode now with squeeing? I mean, it might only be in March or somethin', but it's happenin'!!! I'm sure he is doing it, but it won't be this year. It will be for the album release so he could do the news songs and I don't see him doing his new songs 2-3 months before the album comes out.

LOL i just remember thinking is was more like American Idol Music Awards because of all four performing. I remember Adam talking about Kelly and how much he loved her performance. He said something like "her voice sounded incredible" something like that. I would have to agree with Adam. Kelly sang "Already Gone" and she was surrounded by a string section. She was one of the only artists that actually sounded good at that particular awards ceremony. (along with Lady Antebellum) The media and critics loved her performance, and AG took off after the AMAs.

It will almost certainly trail the Adam #2 album release -- Spring 2012. Can't figure out any reason they would agree to any other schedule. The AMAs are perfectly timed for a November single, so although I remain skeptical that DCP agreed to this, I would not be 100% surprised if the rumored Adam turned out to be our Adam. I would only be 99% surprised.
