Peeps are tweeting they don't like Adam's new single. Are they in a vacuum and not know it's not his single.

THE AMA'S?! JIGGA WUUUT??
OK. This could be awesome if true, but I am not holding my breath. It could be a chance to have his *comeback* moment of sorts at the AMA's, something that would be great promo for him and awesome for the telecast in terms of buzz factor and ratings. People LOVE comeback stories. They could pimp THE HELL out of it as Adam's return to the AMA stage after his controversial last performance. He has his chance to come back with a killer single (hopefully) and SING THE FUCK OUT OF IT and make his voice shine while avoiding all the over the top stage traps that bogged down his last performance and made it a disaster. Simple stage set up, more of a focus on the vocals (and hopefully the song will be much better suited to singing live.). He also will be in a much better head space (No Out controversy looming over his head) and more used to the whole fame thing. Plus he has learned his lesson, I don't think he would let the pressure get to him this time. I think he would come out and slay it.
But then again I am too thinking this is a name mix up thing and I dunno if ABC has the balls honestly. But man, if this is true, I am excite!! DMG would have hit a home run!

If they didn't know about it before, they sure do now.

But since Maroon 5 is already scheduled to perform and they said Adam Lambert. Even if it is a mix up, do you think that Adam Levine would be performing twice? Once with his group and another by himself? If so...that's a lot of TV time, just saying...

Just wanna point out: ... ...The thought of Adam premiering his explosive single at some fantabulous Nov. event (X factor? AMAs ???!!?? kidding, ducks, or am I??) is enough even to help me over my enormous second hand embarrassment at his having to deal with the shipping situation via twitter.... ... *is smug* (until this all turns out to be Adam Sandler doing the Chanukah song instead)This was my first thought when Adam announced a November single, and in some ways it seems like a no-brainer to me for everyone involved. And I agree--this is a totally different situation from last time. However, can't help remembering that last time I was in NYC too, on a brief visit to the in-laws, and I didn't watch live because I couldn't face the idea of sitting in front of their TV with them watching that shit go down! Will I be braver this time...?

I hope it he does, his single has already hit radio and is gaining some traction so it's not totally unfamiliar and that the performance will give it a huge boost. I wouldn't like a situation like last time where the song was already DOA when he performed it ya know? I also would hope the song is an amazing vocal song, one that sounds perfect live.
