momtomany and didilynn .....and others in the area....Hope y'all can attend the Vineyard concert! This event is HARD to get into. We only went once because Lynda knew someone who knew someone......it's easier to get in if you DON"T live in the area through the sweepstakes through the various partners, because they want to fly people in and put them up at partner hotels. Local people have to know someone in the business to get in :(.
I have heard of people going there and waiting all day to see if they let a couple people in - but if they do that, you don't get in until they have let all the winners/partners etc. in - if they have any extra spots, they will let a few in for the very back seats.......
I entered the sweepstakes like everyone else, and asked my family & friends to enter for me......so will be praying for a miracle!

Haha! I have to chuckle at anyone who has a problem with the SP video because parts of it don't look "realistic," ie. the background scene as he is driving the car, etc. This video is not meant to show literal reality. It's meant to show how someone performs MINI-MIRACLES with his SUPERPOWERS! It's a fun fantasy. Adam changes the street signal from his car. He fixes the guy's broken car. He quickly provides a new ice cream cone for the little girl. He makes the hydrant go on with a stroke of his hand. It's all magical fun. Nit-picking just takes the joy out of it. Yay! We hit a million and beyond for Superpower! Keep it up! It's not nitpicking. When I first saw the "unmoving car" I said WTF and burst out laughing. Did not take any joy out of it... not the first time I watched it nor the 100 times I've watched it since. I think everyone agrees it's a fun fantasy. Nobody's joy has been diminished. I thought, "Gee, those streets must be very bumpy and filled wit potholes." Also, he is driving past the same stores repeatedly. I noticed. Didn't diminish the fun.

Glad that the some of the "unreal" aspects of the SP video didn't ruin the fun of it for you. I enjoy the whole thing over and over again. But I guess some people are bugged by little details that they just can't ignore. Their loss I guess.
So glad Adam is in the Vineyard show! It's big deal. If I lived anywhere near there, I'd sure try to go.
I've done my share of buying SP on iTunes, etc., so I guess the iTunes drop will have to be made up by other fans who haven't done it yet. I've been streaming so much that "Row Row Row Your Boat" is running through my head.
Can't wait for the Superpower Impact Day on Oct. 7!

Incidentally that is the one thing that bugs me in the video, but I am professionally damaged that way... OTOH, it could totally be intentional, as all movies shot in the 70s had this type of rear projection effect to make it appear as if actors were actually driving. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear_projection_effectAfter you mentioned this before, I really studied the beginning with the car and concluded, at least for myself, that the effect was totally intentional. The background is so out of focus and the car is bouncing around in ways that only a car with sprung suspension or purposely bouncy shocks on a bad road would. Plus all the random gold light effects - perhaps a little get-down magical car funkitude I agree with LindaG23. Seems intentional to me.

Oh boy... I know, more FLD than I can tolerate. If someone else listens and tells me that guy is not an asshat, then I might listen - grrr! The interviewer is great. Adam is the one going on and on about Freddie. I'd invite you to listen unless Adam fawning over Freddie bothers you.
