I can certainly relate to "Nothing makes me happier than Europe". I have lived in California almost as long as I lived in Europe, but I still feel very much European. Germany and the way of life there is deeply rooted in my heart. I can imagine that Javi feels similarly with Spain. It's not always easy to be away. I am sure that Adam recognizes that and thankfully he likes Europe too. I hope he is traveling with Javi for a little vacation together.
Funny how those things differ. I moved from Poland to Canada at 19 years old and since started travelling back and forth between Toronto and California for work and never looked back. Let's just say my experience of growing up Jewish in Eastern Europe was not something I think fondly of.
Oh wow. I can see that your upbringing in Poland was much different from mine in southern Germany. I enjoy living in the SF Bay Area, but I can't say that I never look back. I do visit Germany at least once a year though. I don't want to get too "political" here on this board but I believe that living in Canada is different from living in the US. Certain things I just can't wrap my head around. Enough said.

May i ask how old you are? I've lived in the US for a few years with my family as a child. I gotta say, my heart is a little in both countries. My brother has no emotional connection to the US whatsoever (no Diss), at least not Like i do.
Sure! I'm 35 now.
Mind you, we've lived in the South of France for a while before jumping the pond eventually in 2003. I enjoyed that quite a bit but would never go back permanently. I find life in general and making a living in North America much easier, I love the business culture in the industry that I work in - it's extremely laid beck, your superiors treat as as even partners. I find Europe to be too pretentious, pompous and uptight in that regard.
sizzling63 That's great that you still visit! My mom still does but I haven't been in almost 5 years now. And I agree, life in Canada is pretty uncomplicated as far as bureaucracy goes, in my experience.

sizzling63 i know you're probably talking in a more general and Long term sense but i think it's fair to say that in the last five years ALOT has been hard to wrap your head around, not just the US, but the world. Re my comment on Facebook on a friends post. It's a crazy scary time and i do find my self chilled to the bones with some of the News. MeggyMeg i find it incredibly hard to compare countries/continents. First because it involves alot of generalisation, second because Miami isnt seattle, la isnt ny, Italy isnt Germany, Spain isnt Sweden and England isnt Greece. Lol i hope people get what i'm trying to say. I pesonally think there are both ups and downs to Germany and the US.

Every country in Europe is different in that aspect. In the Netherlands you can call a business pretty flat in the sense that I've never felt huge difference in the company I'm working for. We are together a team to get the best to clients. The bureaucracy comes from the fact that we are an American company not from the Dutch leadership and such.

Can someone provide me with a link to these songs from Adam on Spotify perhaps?
For Your Entertainment - Fonzerelli's Piano Club Mix Whataya Want From Me - Jason Nevins Electrotek Radio Edit
I can't find these myself on Spotify, but I just found a source that tells me they are on Spotify at least in 1 country.

Well, obviously my experience would be based on the two countries I lived in.
Glad your experience has been much different.
At the end of the day, no place is perfect.

Isn’t this the festival where Dr Bri and the owner/organizer are not seeing eye to eye over wild life issues? I seem to remember this door was permanently shut by Dr Bri last year? Or the year before?
