Gosh, thanks Cassie!
Quick question though. I love the way you describe the head voice, but does this mean that all the time when Adam is singing in his upper register, he's feeling the vibrations of it all through his face and teeth in the way you describe? Or is that just an extreme feeling that comes from the exercises? Curious to think of him buzzing up there! But then, I guess we're buzzing watching him, too!

Hmmm ... Adam up before noon ... please let it be the "big meeting" to pick the single. please universe please please please Does anybody who follows these things with other artists know how does it usually work about the video? How quickly do videos come together? Are videos usually released at the same time as the single or a little bit after or what? I have been slightly anxious about the time frame for putting together a video by Nov-ish.  He is up early considering he had such a late night. And if you factor in the 3 hour time difference from Cali, it makes it really early for him! I can't think of anything besides a business meeting that would get him up that early. From previous artists I follow, the videos came out a few weeks after the single. Which means Adam should be making the video within the next 3 weeks. That would happen in LA though, not New York (I think.) Also, IMO, if we are getting the single Nov. 8th, we should be hearing something about it by next week. |

welll this should get your dander up again..checking out Amazon and on Movers & Shakers, Beg For Mercy is up 84% with a sales #position of 386, previous #position of 713. Someone is being fooled.

Yesterday i've been searching for the youtubes of the Kiss concert, but couldn't find all of them. So I was really happy to find your link.
Tommy did a great job on the guitar, especially the solo in sleepwalker.
And i've never seen the IIHY performance at Leno before. What a quality ;D

welll this should get your dander up again..checking out Amazon and on Movers & Shakers, Beg For Mercy is up 84% with a sales #position of 386, previous #position of 713. Someone is being fooled. And to keep our blood pressure in check we should also remember that at this level it doesn't take too many purchases to influence the position. Even in iTunes once you get down into the 200-300 places a few people buying can change chart positions to an amazing degree. |

Yes, yes, we are buzzzzzzing in all kinds of places watching and listening to Adam. Yes, amw, Adam's voice resonates in our bodies, minds, and souls, I think. Physically, mentally and sensually. But, to answer the question, yes, Adam does feel the vibrations in his face and mouth when using his head voice. The demonstrations I mentioned would let you feel it strongly, so that you can recognize it. But, on a more subtle level, Adam does feel this whenever he sings with his head resonance. In fact, singing correctly is as much or more about how it feels than how it sounds. When I am singing scales up and down, I can feel when I am straining before I can hear it in my voice. Then, I stop, go back, approach it more slowly, concentrate on the feeling, and flip the note into my head. I can feel when I have properly flipped it and the strain disappears and my head vibrates. I have been looking on YT for demonstrations of head vs chest, and this kind of gives you an idea, altho with a female voice. Ignore what she says about male falsetto, or about being breathy. A good head voice is actually the opposite of breathy. It is pure and ringing. But, the demo of the difference in tone between head and chest is good. |
