Shazam! Congrats @adamlambert! #SUPERPOWER has been charting in the @shazam charts in the UK for a few days already! 🎉 Now #133 in the whole of UK, but it already peaked on #95 on 12 September! 🕺 It seems I personally also made it chart in Apeldoorn here in the Netherlands! ❤️ #Shazam

svca Mileys performance of 'slide away' was by far my favorit of the night at the vmas!!! skaschep not saying everyone now or even in my list is a perfect vocalist but neither were they back then. It just sounds like genuine artistry is dead now. And i disagree with it and i dislike hearing it.

The Larry flink Interview: i'd have to disagree with Adam on the performing live thing. I think there are some young GOOD, VERY GOOD performers out there! I feel like the pressure is even higher now. Because of all the tecnical possiblities like autotune, backing track etc. There is more need to proof yourself in stripped back, exposing acoustic sets. And there are so many different elements to a performance, dance, vocal, Instruments, stage presence etc. Hate to brake it to Adam but Madonna wasn't a vocal queen. I just don't like the romanticising of the past. It annoys us as well when Freddy is elevated to this untuchable godlike Status. I see Kind of the same here. I'll probably be alone with this but i'm happy to hear why people think differently of if someone might better explain what Adam meant. Lol i'll defend Justin, Miley, Shawn, Camilla, Tori, Ariana and Ed with my life! He does have a point though. There are people out there who really can't sing, but use Auto tune to give a performance. We had someone like that performing on The Voice here in the Netherlands and the auto tune failed. He was really awe full. Yet he's high up in the charts every time he releases something. Especially with the younger generation he's very popular and I really don't get it. Superpower is nowhere to be seen on the charts though. It's not even newsworthy to mention on the radio. Not being played either yet. Not sure how we are going to get it on the radio without some big promo from Adam. I agree. It is pretty obvious that some are not great live. And Adam did not name any of those names so what is there to defend? He didn't say that none of the singers today could sing. Man, I can think of a few that I really liked their songs, but was so disappointed when they sang them live. And when you watch some of the award shows there are people performing (not everyone), who have big hits and lots of radio play, and they can't sing very well.

It just sounds like genuine artistry is dead now. And i disagree with it and i dislike hearing it. I'm not saying there isn't any real artistry anymore. I just went to a concert of Muse last week. They are definitely one of the best live performers out there. 2 hours of great live instruments and live vocals (mostly). But it is easier now to fool the audience. With auto tune and backing tracks. You don't even have to sing or play the instrument anymore and your audience still loves it. Justin B playbacks most of his show. As does Britney. And they can sing, but just don't want to or are able to do it in a live show for 2 hours. Adam has been accused of lip syncing and using auto tune plenty of times already. Because it's so normal that people use it and he's soo amazing good that people just don't believe he does it all live. It's ridiculous if you think about it. His talent in singing is way bigger than almost all of those big artists. Yet he's playing 600 people venues in December. In 12 days his song hasn't even reached 1 million streams. We all think he deserves so much more and it must frustrate him sometimes when he sings live with Queen night after night and also with his solo music and is not recognized for that talent. Or at least not by the masses. While others who use all the tools that are available to them and get played over and over with only an inch of the talent Adam has. He wasn't saying there is no artistry anymore. We know he appreciates a lot of artists out there and he tells us that. He's just talking about those who aren't great and still seem to be able to play in arenas or stadiums.

How does Shazam count? Only one per device?or every so often? I try to Shazam once a day. I only have one device to do so, but it could be it's connected to your account. So if you use multiple devices you also should use different accounts for that.

Over the last 10 years I realized and then accepted the fact that the art of singing matters nothing anymore. It just doesn’t. This is the age of DJs and techno produced sounds...and Adam is an anomaly... he is a diamond in the land where no one thinks diamonds are valuable...

So if you use multiple devices you also should use different accounts for that. I was listening to Capital radio in the UK for a while and I tried to Shazam every time I heard them play SP, but it wouldn't let me.. the message that would show up is that I've already sent that message (on Twitter). So I think you're only allowed to Shazam every so many hours.. not sure if it's 24 hours or not, but I was able to Shazam later on again.
