My personal 2 cents (which won't even buy a gumball these days) You have two different people with two very different feeling towards a set of music. One is proud of it. One was proud of it a number of years ago, but is seemingly embarrassed by it now*. Has Adam said he is embarrassed by this old music? I thought he just said it does not represent who he is now. He doesn't want his name on it and it advertised as his "new single" and "new album" and that is perfectly understandable! Well, one of them has nothing to lose. M isn't a solo artist on a major label who is releasing his sophomore album that he feels could make or break him. Sure, the other one thinks everything is just WONDERFUL : . It's not his name they are using on the front of the album. He isn't a grammy nominated platinum selling artist who is trying to create a brand and reputation for himself. It is TOTALLY COOL with him if some tunes he did five years ago with half assed production get released. This release won't confuse HIS fans or HIS potential fans. M would love to make a little extra money, but A doesn't want the piddling amount he would get for the release of these songs. It is Adam's name, his voice and his career and reputation that is affected. Because of exactly what happened. The music from BFM was marketed as Adam's new music. Adam wants to avoid consumer confusion and wants his "new music" to actually be his "new music".

nilerodgers.com/Check out the video right at the top. It is so funny and informative at the same time! and that Adam is working with him truly is cosmic forces at work. Sure would be nice if we could get a little funk and soul in music today and displace a little of the Rap... and if Adam could be part of that well, YES!!! "The funky party people are still here, let the rain begin" - Nile Rogers Seeing the rain part in the vid reminded me of Adam in Canada in the rain:-)

This is very cool, just tweeted by Nile. Gives a wonderful overview of his life and legacy: @nilerodgersnile Rodgers PHOTOS of me from Rolling Stone-You can have some laughs at my expense: t.co/LhkUEobT9 minutes agovia TweetDeck This quote from Rolling Stone made it feel full circle for me. His work on Let's Dance, a smash comeback for David Bowie in 1983, confirmed Rodgers as one of the most in-demand producers in the business. "There was some unexplainable voodoo" on the album, he writes, which featured a young guitarist named Stevie Ray Vaughan.Hot Damn, this guy is the REAL DEAL

I have changed my avi yet again! Everyone on my twitter feed had the avi I had here because of the Advocate contest. Am I a bad fan if I admit I got tired of seeing that SAME photo of Adam? ;D Then I would be a bad fan too. I changed mine back an hour ago 8-) It was crazy seeing the same picture over and over on Niles' and Adam's feeds last night!! I wonder if Adam wondered what was going on?

As far as I know, the only way to unfollow someone is to go to their account and click the button that says "Following." It would not be likely that someone could accidentally unfollow someone. anjalee
