Then I would be a bad fan too. I changed mine back an hour ago 8-) It was crazy seeing the same picture over and over on Niles' and Adam's feeds last night!! I wonder if Adam wondered what was going on?  He didn't because Gelly was kind enough to explain it to him!  btw, someone else on twitter suggested that after this competition is over, we should all change our avi's to chocolate-mint ice cream and drive him totally crazy ;D ;D ;D I'm all for it!  |

 and  and  was me yesterday, peeking in between deadlines and trying to catch up late last night. What an amazing day! After the drought comes the deluge, and I could barely keep my head above water and then another wave of awesome would hit. So much news, I didn't know where to look first, from the Advocate Outtakes (wish we could get full interview transcripts all the time, there was so much insight and, aww, the glow) to Nile's tweets! Nile Rodgers is such a sweet, gracious man. Plus he posts pics (and video!). I think I love him. I hope to see Nile and Adam perform live together someday. Preferably on my TV! "One of the most organically perfect jams I've had since Bowie." OMG. I'd hoped that Nile would share some wisdom (and it sounds like he did and that he and Adam clicked) and some stories with Adam of Bowie, but to publicly compare him to Bowie. Wow. (And Luther, Prince, and Freddie Mercury too.) I can't even imagine how Adam must feel right now, and how happy that must have made him. I'm thrilled for Adam that his dreams are coming true. He's so modest, but I'm so glad he retweeted that Bowie comment and that it's on his page forever. I hope the media picks up on it. The generous praise that Adam's unreservedly given to other artists is coming back to him in such a special way. I can't wait to hear the thoughts of more musicians when they get a chance to hear the new music! |

*don't know if this is gonna make any sense:For a long time now I've been convinced that Adam is going to be huge and legendary. I don't think I even needed the confirmations of the people he worked with - and we got A LOT of them the last months! But I don't know why, after last night, I'm so zen and sure of myself... Not only there's no doubt in my mind that Adam's going to be big, I just KNOW he's gonna be bigger than everybody, bigger than the biggest acts, not only the current ones, but past ones as well. I have this calm certainty that this is what's gonna happen. Call me crazy, I don't even have a need to flail anymore. I'm just peacefully happy. Zen-ticipation! It must be a breath of fresh air to work with someboy, who has serious talent, who has ideas, is not intimidated (much) by the legends like Nile, who's intelligent, articulate and fun to spend days and days in studio with... He's gonna make it - it's just meant to be; written in the stars. From happy tears to Zen-ticipation!   |

Guys...it looks like I'm going to have to change my avatar now since it seems Adam and Monte have parted ways. It's been so long ago, since PF, that I've had this one that I've forgotten how to do them. I'll go read on the 'how to' thread but don't I have to take a picture and get it into photobucket or imageshack first before I can bring it here? I can't even remember how to get a pic copied into these places. :-/ Darn....I really loved the avatar I have now. :(
