I love this picture of the two of them although I may have to play with it to get the dimensions right. Can I have this as my new avatar? I love the lovely boyfronds! ETA: Hmmm. OMG Adam hasn't clean this suit since the first time he wore it on SYTYCD 2 years ago, guys. The spot on the sleeve is still there. ;D

Sorry, I was talking about official premiere, not release for sale. I'll rephrase: The PREMIERE was Tuesday, August 30.I really don't care about the ads dates, sale dates, etc. once the announcement is made and music is debuted, because by then we've already heard it in several interviews and during the premiere, etc. The rest is academic IMO because usually we get stuff in advance anyway. Anyone who pre-ordered FYE had it the week before it's official drop date and the digital download was also available the weekend prior to its "official" drop. I guess was under the impression that add dates do matter. My understanding is that radio play builds awareness and helps drive sales. So, I thought RCA would not want a late November add date, since radio stations will be switching to holiday formats. As I pointed out in my original post, if the single is not announced until early next month and released for sale mid-month, then the add date would be late November. I was just wondering whether this scenario really made any sense from a business perspective. I realize that rabid fans will become aware of the single early and will purchase it right away. But Adam needs more than us to hear and buy the single for it to be a smash hit. Again, just random speculation ... I have done some work with the film and TV industry, but not music, so I'm still learning. Usually in film there is a long lead time to build buzz and anticipation, but I guess the music industry is different. I realize that Adam is worried about leaks and wants to surprise us. But it seemed to me that so much silence at this point is a bit odd. But what do I know? Nada.  I'm sorry, BB. I didn't mean to imply they don't matter. They definitely matter, but they are not MY immediate priority. They will happen when they happen – and it will be in a timely, orderly succession once the big announcements are made. For my purely selfish needs, knowing the date of the release, hearing the music and seeing/hearing Adam in every interview done during promo is what I'm most hungering for. I'm not a numbers cruncher; like seoulmate, it's largely Greek to me too. I may definitely try to read the race forms and sports stats this time around and figure it all out, but again, those dates, IMO, will come soon enough and once my hunger for new music is (at least temporarily) sated, I won't be counting the minutes so eagerly. |

OT.. Is Atop loading slowly for anyone else but me?  Hmm.... same speed as usual for me viv. Perhaps you were loading when someone else was posting? Is the slow loading constant or acute?
