I am surprised at myself, - but I love Adam's falsetto in "Overglow".
I spent time listening to the words/message in the songs today. The 4 ish years Adam spent somewhat alone were hard for him. I guess the lyrics of "You can't Buy Love" are more true than we would wish. Many will come along, but it may not feel right. At his level of "success" he has to put up his guard to make sure when the word "love" is spoken - it means all of him - flaws and all.
He has all that money could buy, but where was his partner to share it with? I think he is there now. Just at 22 years, one still has real mental and emotional growth that will take place personally. Life is no cakewalk. Little did we know that loving Adam came with ups and downs and our growing also. It's called a real "ride"! Think we use to post the roller coaster during the worst/best parts.
It is good to be reminded that the beauty of "Velvet" is largely a result of Adam's vulnerability and his willingness to address the rollercoaster ride that he's been on. He is definitely not shying away from the lows. Surprisingly though, he managed to make the EP sound rather upbeat and soothing.

The live vocals are freaking amazing! If I did not know the original, I could have assumed this was a studio recording. Obviously some of the original instruments and backing vocals are coming from a tape, but the guitar sounds like Adam Ross to me... Now THAT'S how SP should sounds live, with working microphone and everything!

Is it the only song he performed, when did he do this etc. Anyone have the deets?
