For Halloween, Adam and Sauli could dress head-to-toe in beige and go as Susan Boyle's performance of Mad World.

Actually, I like the idea of Tarzan and Jane, with Sauli as Tarzan. He's buff and tan and would probably be comfy in a loincloth. And, as we've seen in his old pics, Adam was gorgeous dressed as a woman on some previous Halloweens. They could be amazing! Gelly, do you have some photos to give an idea? Unfortunately he was not dressed as a woman for Halloweens. It was for some contests. You're right he looked gorgeous, but I don't think we will ever see him again as a woman. Sigh......

Wow. I hadn't realized how repetitive that song is, how plodding and monotonous the rhythm, how narrow the range. As written, it basically goes nowhere. No arc to climax to resolution. It's numbing, actually. Maybe that was the point? The singer is so beaten down, so defeated, that he/she has become numb, and has no reaction? If so, Susan's "interpretation" is perfect. In contrast to Susan's rendition, Adam's interpretation pulled at our heartstrings and spoke to our souls. As Paula said, "I feel your pain." Ironically, the two renditions are in the same key, and at the same tempo. How could the same song sound so different with different singers? How could one drone on in a boring way, and the other touch me so? I think that the comparison is enlightening. Adam's version touches you that way, because you are a fan of his. MW a beautiful, yet depressing song, and Adam gave the perfect performance of it on AI. Believe me, I am NOT a fan of SuBo, but I did find that video kind of sad. She sounds like a child...and that is really what she is mentally. The way she approached the song seemed right for her. Two different singers, two different versions. Adam is an artist, she really is just a poor cat lady who has problems being interviewed or handling relationships with people. She and Adam couldn't be any more different. I found her version of this song childlike...and sort of pitiful, and it fit the place she is at in life- and always will be in. :( Adam is a man with an above average social and intellegence factor. Susan is below average in both of those categories. She will never deliver the types of performances that Adam (and most other artist) are able to deliver. TPTB use her story and her rather sad life to sale albums. IDK...at least she is getting to sing and do something that she enjoys doing. I don't really think she understands all the other stuff that goes along with the fame and money. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. LOL

Frank'n'furter and Rocky! yes, please! I had a major crush on Tim Curry (as Franknfuter) when I was a teenager. MAJOR. It was love at first sight. Loved the makeup and the outrageous sexiness/craziness. Don't know how I ever wound up as an Adam fan :
