I don't know what the qualifications are to be on this "X-Factor" show, since I don't care for reality TV. But I do know that this article is Perez being a mean-spirited jerk. His "dirt" reminds me of the criticism I saw bandied about regarding Adam when I first got interested in him: "That guy has been trying to make it in show business for years." I was like .... ummmm .... yeahhh? ETA: Is Perez worth paying attention to? Does he actually have any influence or is he just a despised bottom feeder? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm asking because I really don't know.

That's what I thought SusieFierce about Adam and Stacey. I think they were performing different nights. I cannot think of any reason why Adam would lie about it. Adam said he remembered her from Hair. Perez is an ass and I don't know if Adam should respond to him about "checking the facts right".

perezhilton.com/2011-10-28-stacy-francis-broadway-history-work-with-oprah-winfrey-whitney-houston-adam-lambert-lies-the-x-factor#.Tqsfz94g_UAAnd The Plot Thickens! More Details On Stacy Francis' Shockingly SUCCESSFUL Past!Girlfriend has had more opportunities in the last 20 years than most people have ever had EVER - including people competing against her on The X Factor! When American audiences were first introduced to Stacy Francis weeks ago on the premiere of The X Factor, everyone (including us) was taken with her incredible voice and her gut-wrenching story of being silenced by domestic violence and so on. While we have no idea if her home life was as bad as she made it seem, we're learning more and more each day that Stacy was never kept from sharing her musical gifts with the world. In fact, for the last 20 years, she has had a very SUCCESSFUL career, starring in movies and TV shows, performing at celebrity benefits and even starring on Broadway. Some people are lucky if they've done one of those things; she did them ALL! And now, we've uncovered MORE about the singer, including new details about her friendship with Adam Lambert. Oh yeah! There are those who would have you believe that Adam is just another celebrity fan of Stacy's simply because he watches the show. In actuality, the pair go way back, back several years ago, where they performed alongside together at the Upright L.A. Cabaret. (above) Funny how no one seemed to mention that on Twitter. But wait, there's more! Yesterday, we told you how Stacy had performed with the likes of Madonna, Prince and Chaka Kan, but there is one more diva name you can add to that list: Whitney Houston! Stacy actually performed with the diva herself, who referred to her as "a very successful singer from New York City who’s currently on Broadway," and her "friend." And about that stint on Broadway. Or should we say, STINTS! First, she join the cast of Smokey Joe’s Cafe. That was followed by a role in Street Corner Symphony. But then, she actually originated the role of Rusty in Footloose. You can even hear her sing on the album HERE! AND YES! THERE IS MORE! When she was 16, Stacy was in a R&B group called Girlfriends, which led her to a part in performed in Girlfriend, a made for television movie produced by Oprah Winfrey! Girl is freakin' connected to OPRAH!!! It doesn't get any more "well-connected than that." You can add all this information to the fact that she's also lied about how many marriages she's had. Not two - three, with her first marriage resulting in a child in their 20s now, who she has kept mum about for many, many years. Phew! We're exhausted! That's a lot of dirt to dig up on one person! But here is the point people: girl is a fraud!!! A FRAUD!!! And no doubt, she'll be out of the competition as soon as Simon Cowell gets wind of all this treachery. If there is one person who appreciates professional honesty, it's Simon! What's in this for Perez? Has SF broken any of the X-Factor rules? I assumed that older contestants might have some performing experience, but couldn't be under a current contract or something like that.

Why is Perez waging a full-on war on this Stacy? Is it all just rage towards Adam?

craazyforadam - what you wrote is very interesting and eye opening. Just 2 questions: WWFM was released as first single in Europe, wasn't it? Wasn't SW released in Germany as a single as well? Yes, UK was the only one with FYE single first, otherwise it was WWFM. Only very few EU markets ever got a FYE roll-out (Finland for example) and there it was the n-th single, so neither first or second. Yes SW was released in Germany, but I am not aware of any sizable radio push (at over 4 minutes that was a challenge). To be honest, I don't quite understand the Sony Germany decisions that were made after the very successful WWFM. Did they not have any leeway to make independent choices or was the radio promotion budget depleted and they could not do more or was it other stuff, I don't know. But while WWFM was a full blown push and very successful, everything after that was run at half-throttle. I think that once they could not justify single promotion expenditure anymore with any hope for album sales, perhaps their budget went down so much that they were not able to get through anymore. As I said, I don't know, these are just my own guesses.

@chrisisaacson during Idol had an evening to honor Adam and there were many fans that night on Upright Cabaret. Adam couldn't be there but they called him. It was before the night he sang "Feeling Good". He actually sang on the phone a little bit of the song.

Just because it's a slow day. Lenny Kravitz and Adam have the same taste in shoes. Look at the way Lenny is wearing the same boots. Same way as Adam does. I love Lenny's style but these short pants with the boots are no no no no! And for the long boots I love Lenny's style here, but also I think Adam is a win win win. 8-) Man... even with too-short pants, Lenny is f*ckin' HOT. Sigh. But why is he holding his cellphone in one hand, and holding a regular phone receiver to his ear?? I love Lenny Kravitz.. saw him at a free concert in Palm Beach,Fl. years ago.. He was my first, before Adam

I was like .... ummmm .... yeahhh? Thanks for the embed, Gelly!! (I was being lazy and didn't want to open my Photobucket as computer is going a little sluggish at the moment.) I agree, Juniemoon, I read that this morning and was eyerolling all over the place. What is his damage about Stacy? He's full-on attacking her right now and I just don't get how it's warranted. First of all, from what I gathered, she squeaked in (it was not a particularly strong performance, IMO) I THINK he may have been wanted that dollar-store "pop princess," Simone, who was TERRIBLE. Otherwise, why is he singling her out to bash? It's neither here nor there, because who knows how much Stacy did or did not disclose to the producers. I can't imagine her not disclosing her professional experience, as it's obviously VERY easy to find. I'm sure someone on "X-Factor's" legal team does a cursory Google search on potential contestants to avoid a lot of embarrassment and expense. Perez is acting like she's perpetuating some big hoax, not that the producers have cast her in that role. (And sure, she probably said a few things to that end, but is that ALL she said? I can't imagine that's the case.) But I guess Perez thinks she and Adam are BFFs now and that will help her win?? : :

chrisisaacson: @adamlambert, it was great to see you last night old friend. It has been far too long. Serious 'catch-up' time is necessary! (from 10 minutes ago) ChrisIsaacsonPresnts @chrisisaacson Hollywood, CA From small clubs to major theatres, this young impresario has produced/promoted over 450 events feat. the most influential stars of his generation. www.ChrisIsaacsonPresents.comI think he was instrumental in Upright Cabaret: Here's a tweet from four hours ago (think it may have been sarcastic?): Thanks for the love @perezhilton! And The Plot Thickens! More Details On Stacy Francis' Shockingly SUCCESSFUL Past! shar.es/bZBto Also, I saw a tweet from Stacy this morning saying that she and Adam never met, so apparently, Perez jumping to conclusion that they are "friends," is incorrect. They may have been on same bill, but perhaps on different nights? Stacy and Adam could very easily been performing the same night and their paths never crossed. The shows at Upright were showcases for the particular talent on stage at that moment. These weren’t rehearsed or choreographed shows, the singers didn’t share the stage, they just did their own thing and were done. At Upright Celebrates Adam Lambert (or whatever it was called) during Idol, the singers had their 15-20 minutes in the spotlight and that was it. Some of them were there early and waited with the crowd, some came in just before they sang, most left right after their own stint was up. Just like at many concerts, the pre-opener or opener doesn’t necessarily know the headliner. Adam and Stacy being on the same bill probably means just that—they were on the same bill. I would be surprised if they ever met or talked with each other that night. At these kind of gigs each performer is independent of the other.
