Earlier today I posted link to Susan's version of Mad World on my main Facebook page asking for thoughts? I also asked on our Adam fan page for Glamberts not to comment cos I was curious what others (non-biased ) would think. Initially only had one comment from my sis-in-law (who has played musical instruments, but never sung): " Sounds great to me. Loved wild horses, the rest is not really my cuppa."So posted Adam's iheartradio version (which I think is probably closest in style to Susan's version) for comparison. her response: "As for who does Mad World the best... different styles for different folks IMO neither is better or worse and diversity in music can't be bad."I have yet to respond, but another non-Glambert friend who IS a singer, and I know is huge on song interpretation commented: "She sounds like a twelve year old. Did she use Adams karaoke backing? Sorry, just don't like it..boring...falling asleep......zzzzzzzzzz"I know which response I prefer and which one I agree with!!!!  |
