I don't think I have seen this posted in the past few days! Interesting, enlightening article about how much money the artist and label make off their songs. Bottom line is, the artist makes most of their money off of touring!

That's still true today, but artists are far more likely to throw up their hands and say, "Who gives a crap? Let's just make a pile from touring." And yay for cameras; we were so immersed in his INSANITY on stage that don't think we even saw that (and we were probably 30 feet back), but such GOOD TIMES with MyS*&@^#r and noangel, schufly, anthrogeek and the other Atoppers we met that night.
