Hope Adam is able to do the Cities thing on Friday just so we know he's good to go. There's been no announcement that he ISN'T doing it. Can't wait to see him playful and happy on social media again. Miss him so!
Enjoyed the "celebrity meet-up" stories. I think most savvy celebs realize how important to be very nice in public. It can only take one negative incident to turn off a fan for life. It sure can't be easy to put on a nice friendly patient face all the time, esp. when you're tired or just not in the mood. But it pays off. Adam is definitely very good at it.

Don't know If it counts as "meet" because it wasn't random but after his performance that day of cripple of the inishmen i waited for autographs and Daniel Radcliffe came out. The cool thing was that not only did i get a picture and autograph with/from Dan. I got to tell him i really liked the Story and that i could relate to his character. He seemed surprised to hear this and He responded that He did too, which is why he took the Job.
It was a special thing to see the play and i really cherish the memory. It "showed me my Life" at that moment. And i saw my childhood Hero Harry Potter lol

Oops. Messed up my reply. Trying to type with one finger on one hand and the other arm in a sling. Not easy. Just saying that I'm glad to see another gig added to Adam's list. We'll be back to normal in no time!

Celeb story. Penny Fuller was playing Peter Pan at the repertory theater in town, and a group of us were interpreting for the characters. She was excited to work with us, and very sweet. The day of the show, she came into our dressing room with a huge smile on her face and signed "Shit!" ???????? What? We thought she had tried to sign something else and made a mistake. Nope. Turns out in theater and dance, it is tradition to say "Merde!" instead of "Good luck" (which is bad luck in the theater). Merde is French for shit. Once she explained it and we got over the shock, we all had a wonderful laugh.

Yes, as girldrummer said (for some reason I don't get another box for a reply when I hit "quote" on her post"), it takes only one negative incident to turn a fan off to a celebrity that they once admired. I was a fan of John Denver back in the day (but nothing like my obsession with Adam!). He was at a record store signing autographs for his new CD - this was in the early 90's. I had stood in line for over two hours, and I hadn't made it up to the cash register to buy the CD when it came my turn. Since I hadn't purchased the CD yet, I gave John a piece of paper for an autograph, and he said to me "I only sign stuff". Fortunately, the store manager saw me ready to have a real hissy fit, and rapidly completed the sale of my CD so John could sign it. He signed it "Peace! John Denver", and I thought what a phony! Of course, everyone is entitled to a bad day, but I saw no reason for him to treat a fan that way. It has resonated with me ever since.
No way could I see Adam treating a fan in that manner! He is always so gracious to sign autographs and have pictures taken with him, and is always so appreciative of his fans. I've only had one "meet and greet" with him on the TOH tour, and even though I don't remember me having my head on his shoulder and his arm around my other shoulder, I know that he was "taking care of me" while the photographer was yelling "Look at the camera!". Fortunately I have the picture to prove it!

Celeb Story... 😊 When I went to QAL in Las Vegas in 2014 with my wonderful American friends we stayed in the hotel LVH where the show "Raiding the Rock Vault" was played at that time. After the first QAL concert my friends and I went to the Bar at our hotel where we met Hugh McDonald, the bass player of Bon Jovi. We chatted for about an hour with him and he is just an all around nice, down to earth and talkative person. I guess he had tee many martoonis 🙈😅 because he started to tell us quite private stuff about Jon Bon Jovi. And let me tell you, not everything was nice... I just say bossy 😉 Very cool conversation.
