LOL! I so agree. I find nothing sad about Adam's version. It is Beautiful, Bluesy, Raw and Sexy. He knows how to deliver a punch that is for sure. Good for you that you find "nothing sad" about the song. My reaction was different, and I don't seem to be the only one after reading through comments on twitter and IG. As we discussed here a while ago, different people have different emotional reactions based on their perceptions. I think it is okay for a Christmas song to feel sentimental. For me, "Please Come Home For Christmas" is heart heavy and HOT at the same time. Bluesy and raw sure works well for Adam. What?? Some people find the original version very sad (so do I). I like Adam's better because I don't find his sad. I find his version bluesy but more sexy. And I was only agreeing with those two who found his version sexy too. Like everything we relate to things differently. I just know it is fantastic and I love it. He/Spotify made a great choice. Like most ballads, he killed it and that makes me very happy.
