What a joyous night in Pittsburgh! I think I read somewhere that this was the biggest turnout ever for this event. I hope Adam was at least part of the reason for that!
Love the vids! Thanks to all who managed to get. It's not easy esp. in the cold! I was hoping we'd get a Lay Me Down and a Ready To Run, but I'm thrilled all of the ones we have. Adam was his usual amazing self in every way!

Just got through the 4 pages presently on the thread. Such a great start ...if not chilly start, to hearing Velvet songs live!
I noticed on page 1 Overglow was crossed out. At least it had been in the plan. So sorry it was not revealed live. Oh well. Perhaps due to Cam not being there?? Who knows, but last night I kept waiting for Adam to include Overglow, considering some media folks who got the early listens, thought it was one if the best of Velvet A. And now a real favorite of mine.
Initially I could not understand many of the words, so was disappointed, as it had such a nice feel, but after many listens...wow , what a gem. I love the beat, love the warmth of the production, love the fact that is stays warm in my head. No major crescendos...just nice and smooth. (like the word represents "overglow').

I was in the front row! Only waited 3 hrs. I need new feet however. He was beautiful svelte looking, and that COAT! I got to yell hi to Alison and Keisha. I’m awful at photos ( have a tremor), but I did talk to people and there were lots of 18-20 yr olds and younger teens and tweens with parents, who saw him with Queen. There were about 12 or so diehard glamberts that I have seen at other functions. There was a huge crowd—many waited for quite a while, but it really got crowded about 1/2 hr.before he came on about 10 to 15 min late. Now admittedly they were doing fireworks afterward, so some of the crowd were possibly gathering for that, but radio guy said this was the biggest crowd in 59 yrs of Light Up. I thanked the station and city personnel for bringing him in. Crowd still loves what do you want from me, a fair number also sang along with Ghost town. His new, not as familiar songs were well received, especially when he danced and posed. He did Original high then went into AOBTD, but forgot to go back and finish with Original high. He laughed at himself, and the band was able to be right with him. I loved After Hours. His Crying song was enchanting live. People seemed to know Superpower and he thanked the radio station for being “kind enough “ to play it. The techs tried to change out his ear pack which was going in and out, he finally just threw them out of his ears. Good lighting for a one off radio event show. He was charming as usual; tried to go song to song without patter for the most part. He played to the side street for one song. I loved it! Thanks so much for the recap! So glad you were able to go and enjoyed it so much.....and FRONT ROW! I noticed all the younger folks in the audience. Seems Adam came out at some point and took lots of selfies with the fans.

Hi, Bama. There were quite a few radio call in show winners with promise of meet and photo op. Of course they are fans, but I didn’t see “regular” audience members getting photos. Could have been I just didn’t see it. The radio hosts are definitely big Fans. Many of the “dignitaries” were taking their own phone vids.
oh, and I took the city bus downtown and back. I’m embarrassed to say how long it took me to research the routes and finding a place to pick up a bus pass, but I was proud of myself for figuring out a way to get downtown without having to drive and park! The transit system is/feels very clean and safe.
