katycake oh, this is only Lulu2365's calendar for Novembert I know. Lulu2365 had a great gif that exploded, IIRC. Well, it makes sense, because I never remember anything, and if I think I do - I remember it wrong I've gotten used to it. Nevertheless, I want explosions!!!

Nope, you are not. Facts are facts. On the subject of Adam: After looking at the "breaks" that most the hot, current pop artists take, I believe the original time frame for a single/album release would have been much better for Adam. The original summer album release date was more in line with artists like Gaga, Katy Perry, Bruno and Kesha. If the new single doesn't come out until January, that will be 20 months between single releases. (without any collabs to bridge the gap) :( If we are going to talk timelines then we should get the facts straight. Katy's albums were released 26 months apart. Bruno has only had one full studio album, released in October of last year, as had KE$HA. They both released several singles before their albums came out and an EP. Most artists use the album release, then promo and tour for a year model, then write and produce next album which gets them on a 2 - 2 1/2 year cycle. In the interim, they might release an EP of unused songs (Katy and Daughtry did that) or a collab or even a LIVE album or DVD! Which has what Adam was doing and is completely normal. It is we who are the impatient ones! I wouldn't compare anyone to Gaga or Rhianna because IMO, they just really need to go away for awhile! Apparently we are not the only impatient fans because Alicia Keyes tweeted this out this morning. aliciakeysAlicia Keys **Album Update** It is coming & it is SPECIAL!! I'm givin it all the Love & TIme it deserves 2 mk it the most INCREIBLE 1 YET! I got U!! ;-) Her last album was released Dec. 2009 and is TBD in 2012. Sounds familiar, huh?! ;D

www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/adamlambert/view/35096/Adam Lambert crowned Twitter's Must Follow Artist at MTV's OMAs Singing superstar Adam Lambert was crowned Twitter's Must Follow Artist at MTV's O Music Awards last night, October 31. The 'Whataya Want From Me' hitmaker faced tough competition from some of the most influential celebrities on Twitter including Cher, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Blink 182's Mark Hoppus, but rose above them to take home the impressive title and tweeted a message of thanks to his devoted fans and loyal supporters: CONGRATULATIONS, ADAM!!!!! If I could have wished for Adam to receive any award from MTV, THIS is the one I would have asked my fairy godmother for..To wield such influence in social media is world-wide recognition. We already know we are a potent fan army, so I can pass on that. Spread the joy. IMO, Adam received the one that really counts toward furthering his career and lending support to causes he believes in. Plus he can be wicked fun and goofy too. How come I don't see more celebrating???? Where's the gifs and macros and smilies and fireworks??? More Perezing..WTF? Bitchslapping over language? Hope that single comes out before we start eating our own. For Adam!!!

(without any collabs to bridge the gap) :( Yup - Facts are facts. The Fame was over 13 million in sales about a year ago (I haven't heard any newer numbers). I'm pretty sure that was USA only. Fame Monster was around 6 million at that time. BTW is not yet at 2 million (& that includes the Amazon sales) - yup, to me that is lackluster. Of course, that is one of the negatives of having a mega-success - the expectations are much higher! --- That is probably enough about Gaga. We obviously have very different opinions. On Adam: I would much rather he take his time and release an album he is happy with and proud of. Putting out a crappy, sounds like everything else out there, album quickly might have kept him in the public eye - but in the long run it wouldn't help with that whole longevity thing. Sigh... You just compared US sales numbers of BTW to Worldwide sales numbers for her other two albums. As of October 8, 2011, The Fame Monster has sold 1,510,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan. It has sold six million worldwide. BTW is already at 5 million worldwide. I understand that you are disappointed in Gaga's last album, but the numbers say that there are many people around the world who are not. Like I said, facts are facts. On Adam: I never said I wanted Adam to put out a crappy album. I want him to put out the best album he possibly can, in a timely matter. Absence does not always make the heart grow fonder, especially when it comes to the fickle world of CHR radio. Keeping yourself current, relevant, on the radio, and in the public eye is important. My guess is after all this time, we will still get singles that sound similar to what is being played on CHR right now. They aren't going to throw something totally different out there, unless they are wanting to take a HUGE risk! More time on a project does not necessarily mean better music or more radio friendly. (David Cook ???) Just because I would like to see Adam on a time schedule closer to some of the more popular current artists, does not mean I want him to put out crap.
