ljsmack comments on Aurora's avi .........there's something innocent and real about Adam's reaction after he says love. It's that innocence and delight and fascination that make him so compelling to me. I love the times that he gets so wrapped up in his performance and then shrugs sheepishly. I'm very envious of that pure abandonment. AMEN - The abandonment and joy of a child, but the body and mind/intellect of a MAN! And he can sing too! What else could we possibly need - Except maybe that single SOON! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Aw, he is so great with people and treats others with such respect. I love how he makes personal contact with each kid individually and lets them know they each matter. I've honestly rarely seen anyone as charming. I don't get HUBnon my TV, so I'm hoping the ninjas will gift those of us like me with his episode!!!! I'm sure every sighting of Adam and his appearance/performance at the EMA will be up in minutes for you to enjoy! 8-)

I had to look this up, but the line "Tony went to fight in Belfast Rudi stayed at home to starve" is from the song "Star" from David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album... Okay tamping down my excitement from seeing Bowie, when it's probably just a reference to Belfast LOL. Maybe an innocent reference to Belfast, but why choose a Bowie song? In the back of my mind, I've been thinking the secrecy is because Bowie will be there and Adam might sing with him. There has to be something BIG about this performance. Otherwise, I see no other reason for all the secrecy about the Queen performance or Adam's performance.

Quick recap on the Parlotones last night. They were cute, sounded great, but they came on too late (IMO.) Did not take the stage until 11:15. Soooo, (wait for it, NoAngel) I left early. Left at almost midnight and I'm sure they had not even done 1/2 their set yet. But I still had an hour drive ahead of me. Bad me! :-/ (Oh, and a disappointing sized crowd. I'd say maybe 200 at the most.)

Nice choice for today... Tony went to fight in Belfast Rudi stayed at home to starve I could make it all worthwhile as a rock & roll star Bevan tried to change the nation Sonny wants to turn the world, well he can tell you that he tried I could make a transformation as a rock & roll star[CHORUS (x2)] So inviting - so enticing to play the part I could play the wild mutation as a rock & roll star I could do with the money I'm so wiped out with things as they are I'd send my photograph to my honey - and I'd c'mon like a regular superstar
I could fall asleep at night as a rock & roll star I could fall in love all right as a rock & roll star

I think Eber could be referring to himself "staying at home to starve" -- he seems to kid Adam a lot about his trips when he is left behind. Wasn't the Montreal concert where Eber and Neil both gave him a hard time about not being there? All in good fun. Cracks me up.
