Sorry no offence or anything, but idol is in the idol bubble. No one in the real world knows about it, at least not in Europe. No one in Europe really knows that Adam sang with Queen. Only those who follow him and stan him. So YES it is a HUGE thing that he's performing on the EMA's with Queen. Huge platform, huge screen. THIS is validation for the rest of the world. For the world in pop rock music. No comparison IMO. ITA, Gelly. Now he's out in the world with the big guns; this is HUGE, a validation that he's taken seriously as an (global) artist. Guise, he's gonna have the longevity he's craving for. His star is on the rise... I see big things in his future and I'm so glad I'm here for the ride. postfestumpf This picture is so awesome!!! :D

I really doubt it will be "old legends". I think it will be Adam mostly. I believe that Brian May asked him to sing with them.
Then they will have a big all star finish.
JMHO.

god this is so exciting. how are we going to last 22 more hours??? so much nervous energy....could someone please pass the at-risk youth cookies?????? ;D
I remember Adam saying, when he was asked a ~few times if he was going to join Queen, that if it worked out that there was an opportunity to work together, he would love it.
Well maybe this is that opportunity.
Queen needs a singer for their big moment.
And Adam needs a big moment.
win-win.

some others from the era who could join them - Roger Daughtry, Robert Plant, Bowie, Gary Glitter (kidding)... Plant doesn't sing that well anymore. Neither does Daltrey. OMG!! His Super Bowl performance a few years ago? My bro-in-law, who is a huge Who stan was positively green when he was watching that. His voice was SHOT. BTW, he's also a huge Queen and Bowie fan .... I'M GOING TO WORK THIS SOOOOOOOOO HARD. He loves good vocalists, but has shut himself off completely from even listening to Adam because of the "Idol" stigma. UGH!!! HEE HEEE HEEEE!!!! I'm going to say SUCK IT!!! Um, what else was I going to respond to? IDK!! The A special guest freaked me the fuck out. What if Adam is doing the majority of the set and Gaga is just coming on for duets??? SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I get the excitement but it's not like this is the first time he'll sing with Queen ??? If Bowie showed up then I'd be with Buder, legit pissing myself with the flail. Not that I won't flail over him performing with Queen too but he's did this 2 years ago on Idol. No comparison IMO. no offense taken gelly. I always thought American Idol was broadcast around the world. Also I distinctly recall all the questions about him performing with Queen in almost every interview on his promo tour for FYE. I get that the EMAs are a bigger/international audience I just thought the "he's living his dream" comment seemed odd because he's already performed with Queen so he lived that dream back in May 2009 and I don't think the size of the stage or the number of viewers makes it a better dream. I'd opine that AI would be better because it was all about HIM for that performance. He was the one making headlines and praise for his performance. For the EMAs he's likely to be one of many artists and with Gaga in participation it'll be more likely she'll be the focus of the media hoopla, deserved or not.

I've been gone for most of the day getting things done/obligations met so I can be here all day tomorrow.
When I saw the tweet from the Bieber dude, I legit flailed my arms all about! A true flail! Can't wait to see what Sunday brings.
This is what I tell myself when I wonder if I will be "disappointed" if Adam has to share too much of the stage tomorrow. I try to think of what this means to ADAM. All those interviews that asked him about singing with Queen, and calling him Lord Gaga. All those times he said how much he admires Freddie and Gaga. For him to be singing with Queen and to be possibly on the stage with Gaga, has got to be a dream come true, especially on a show with such a large audience. I know that Adam is going to love every second of it, and I just know that whatever he does, millions of people will be talking about him on Monday, and it will be wonderful for his career.

I'm in full on flail mode and wanted to post this because this is what Adam is paying tribute to and because it makes me cry every time. It's so beautiful. This is the song I would love to see Adam sing with Brian May. Not being picky..it is such a heartwrenching song and we know how Adam emotes. I have goosebumps just thinking about it..Feel his voice filling that arena..I hear you, Foofy...I am in tears listening to this vid. Imagine what a trainwreck I'll be if Adam sings it...

Wonderstruck, I seem to remember a show called the AMAs where both Adam and Gaga performed. Although we are not hoping for the same kind of media attention tomorrow night, Adam out shone Gaga in that award show. : )
I am just glad he is there and has another chance to shine as we know he can.
