Almost 500 posts about this in the Adam thread at MJ's. 99% are gushing and postive, but as an example of how far people will reach someimes, someone said Adam is not theatrical enough to sing these songs!! LOL!  |

135 pages! omg.. had to leave home right after the show Lots of reading to do ! Anyone want to send me a quick recap? One question I had, saw a rumor of a upcoming Queen tour? True? With Adam? That rumor is just a rumor.. Confusing the tribute band contest thing that Brian is putting together.. Queen is not touring.. Brian is going to be announcing semi-finalist this coming week. |

Almost 500 posts about this in the Adam thread at MJ's. 99% are gushing and postive, but as an example of how far people will reach someimes, someone said Adam is not theatrical enough to sing these songs!! LOL! Seriously...they actually posted that?! Yes! I have never heard anyone say Adam is not theatrical enough! Too funny! But like I said, there are maybe 3 negative posts out of 500. And 2 self declared Adam non-fans have been gushing about the vocal! I think that is a good sign for Adam #2! |

Sorry I am not good in recap, it's all good, though. I am sure it wasn't Queen doing the tour. It was a contest or something. And definitely not with Adam. I just got home...listen 3 times, dl the mp 3 for my ipod/ipad, listened 3 more times. I had a massive headache from holding in the bert all night!!

Serious answer here. No one in the pop/rock scene currently. Not even close. Male or female. No other viable choice if Queen wanted it to sound like it did. Did you just get here?!! How many times have you watched it?! Are you as in awe as we all are?! I had to watch the Packer game with family. Crazylady sent a link to the Yt and I have just had the time to listen and listen and marvel. I am in heaven. That voice! He was so 200% on tonight. Such power. Such clarity. Such passion. He is sounding better than ever. And such a fully formed, confident performance. It seemed to me that Adam was totally involved and immersed in the performance while simultaneously stepping outside of himself to say, "here I am, world! I have arrived. I have conquered." I am not being overly dramatic in saying that, in a way, Adam was crowned the King tonight. I couldn't be happier for Adam. if that doesn't grab people by the short hairs and shake them up, then they will never move past WGWG. I will be back to civilization tomorrow evening, and look forward to all the updates and all the new converts. |
